If I Had Someone
By Austin R. Steiner

If I had someone,
More than a friend,
I would make time,
For you, I will tend.
Love and care,

With all my might,
You stole my heart,
And locked it tight.

Wasting away
By Austin R. Steiner

As she cries,
Soft, yet clear,
By my grave,
With twinkling tears
She pulled out a knife
When I said no.

Right down low
She took her life.

Questions Never Answered

Kathja Andersen

27 Jul, 2016 12:30 AM
Why do i feel misunderstood
when everyone says they "understand"?.
Why do i feel like i'm alone
when they say "we're here for you"?
why do i question my life and choices
when it's so clear to me that it's all in the past?.

I can't see my future
yet i know it's not a good one.
"I want help" is a sentence i have never said directly.
Yet it seems everyone know
no it dosen't "seem" like that, they know.

The Girl With A Thousand Names

Michael Lipps

04 Oct, 2016 01:07 PM
I still remember the contours of her face
All her freckles and scars
I see her face when I close my eyes
I gave you all my love
I gave you all of me
I opened my soul to you
Where are you now
How many times did you lie to me
Did you really love me or was it all just a fantasy
Was I in a comatose state stuck in my own body
creating my own reality
I still feel your touch

Hydrangeas

Michael Lipps

04 Oct, 2016 02:12 PM
I feel numb and alone
Life is dark and unfeeling
unremorseful
I remember seeing that corpse
Nothing but bones and remnants of flesh
Blackened and shriveled by the elements of time and nature
Skin once once warm and soft
Now ice cold to the touch
Everything this person was
And could’ve been
Is gone
To another place

You won

Dana Jenkin

03 Jan, 2015 07:06 PM
I take a glance,
at the scars on my wrists
they tell me,
it doesn't have to be like this

I want to talk,
to let it out
but nobody is there to listen,
even when I shout,

depression is dark,
so speak up...

Pain Became My Friend Today

Shannen Wrass

27 Oct, 2013 04:24 PM
Pain became my friend today
She showed me how to hide
She’d been watching from a distance
Every tear I cried

Pain became my friend today
Reached out her hand to me
Then pulled me into darkness
Introducing misery

Pain became my friend today
She’s emptying my heart

together we can understand

Addison

21 Oct, 2010 04:01 PM
reflections entry;

depression is an illness,
not something you do.
how would you feel,
if all it was happening to you?
would you want to run,
would you want to hide?
it seems impossible,
when you don't want to try.
what if it was in your family?
or even your best friend?

Do you know her?

Asia Redfern

09 Nov, 2016 01:43 AM
do you wanna know her?
Do you wanna try?
Her life's a little complicated
Let me tell you why,
She feels unloved unwanted
She cries 6 times a day
Her heart is nearly broken
She's in a lot of pain
She cuts herself to feel
That's how she plays her games
She smiles at the blade
Like blood is summer rain

The End Is Near

Kat

02 Aug, 2015 05:22 PM
The end is near,
For my fellow friend,
For he shall soon,
Be bleeding bad,

As the demons stalk him,
Under the moonlight,
He is strong now,
But his strength will fade,
As soon as he finds the right blade,
He will cut, and cut again,
Wailing for the pain to end,
