He Left Too Early

Rita Ung

One day my best friend told me that she have been talking to this guy she meet on Snapchat. She said he was a friend with someone who was also friends with her. They exchanged photo and talk about random stuff. I on the other hand was trying to have some fun. I thought maybe if I add him as a friend and flirt around, it would keep me entertained everyday. So I added him and despite all of that, I wanted to see how he looked like too. We talked and send streaks to each other. It was a normal conversation. I asked him for a pic of his face. He sent me one and I to myself thought; oh he’s not that bad but I’m not interest in love right now. We talk frequently and we called for two days straight. We flirted around and talk about ourselves... [Read More]

For you Josh

Rachel McConnell

During my first year of high school I had befriended a young, beautiful girl named Alexis. She was one of those friends that I just immediately clicked with. She had short black hair that was constantly straight, always brushing her chin when she turned her head. Her eyes were the most brilliant shade of blue with what seemed to be purple hidden in her light irises, and her skin was a soft white ivory. Over all her appearance made all the boys at our school swoon for her. She was an honor student, always maintaining a 4.0 and she had the most amazing personality. She had the ability to always appear happy and confident, and always willing to help anyone who needed it. But notice I said appear happy, really she was hiding a dark secret. My sweet, beautiful friend had been suffering from manic depression most of her life... [Read More]

To him and to her

Nibras Syed Mahmood

22 Aug, 2015 09:03 PM

He gave her his heart and she gladly accepted it with the promise of love. The concept of love was all new to him, growing up surrounded by conflict and unconventional practices; it was a bold step but one he mustered up the courage to take because he felt that she was special someone he'd been waiting for all along. To him, she was everything he could ever hope for. Smart, witty, beautiful and highly talented. The exact opposite of what he was; average, maybe even less. But what he lacked in terms of desirable qualities he tried his best to make up for by being loving and supportive. By being there for her even when she didn't need him to be. She was far too independent and had plenty of friends to go cry to. To her, he was nothing more than a meaningless fling to the pass the... [Read More]

THE DARK SIDE OF LOVE

Jayson

A TRUE STORY OF MY BEST FRIEND... When I think about love, the first think comes to my mind is GOD. GOD loves us some much, his creation is so perfect, so that we can do any work by ourselves. Till now, we reached from the bed of Oceans to the end of our solar system in space to learn and gain more and more knowledge. GOD is so powerful, without almighty we can’t lead our daily life, we all see GOD everyday but we never realize that anytime, this world is a gift of GOD, to share with each one of us. So ultimately, all religions in this world are meant to lover each other but that seems to be not happening. We, humans are so abhor to each other, they can’t understand the meaning of life and the words of religions. Even sometime GOD seems to be blind.... [Read More]

Reality is better than a Dream

I apologize that this story is little long. Its my second story in this beautiful website. I hope you guys spend some generous time in reading this. --------------------------------------------------------------- Things were not going good in office lately… Meeting targets in the given time frame is hideous. On a not so fine Wednesday me and my colleague sandy decided to take a small break and stepped out of office at 10.30am… The coffee shop across the street is famous for its taste and quality along with its ambience which attracts mainly couples. Sandy barged in the door like he was about to knock out everyone inside for no reason, which obviously lead the people inside to goggle at us. We were the only two, accompanied each other with the same gender. Many of you boys know how awkward it is to hang out with a guy in a place where its pouring... [Read More]

An Indian Girl's marriage

Bourne

There are no words to express the vain that one feels when the person you love and had made promises of marriage with, is marrying someone else out of the blue and you keep wondering what went wrong, what did I miss and how can I change the situation. But its not like the movies where you approach a girl's father tell him that you will do anything for her and he gives her hand to you. In real world, one has to watch her getting married to that someone else and feel each moment of doing so like a bunch of needles striking your heart. Well this is a sad sad story of my brother who was so cheerful, so jovial, a high spirited man suddenly became mute like a bird who has lost its wings and couldn't fly again. It started like all love stories where a boy... [Read More]

The Undying Love

Julia Sullivan

I'm currently 18 and this story started way back when I was 13. I had a 3 year major crush on this cute guy. After waiting and having kept the developing feeling, I was soooo happy to finally know from a friend that he actually fell for me. LIKE FINALLY. Well, you know that happiness. Well, after getting more about each other for several months when we started to get closer, he finally decided to ask me to be his girlfriend, which was what made me felt so good about it. It was worth the wait. We dated for like 7 months, we went out a lot, explore places, go for hiking, out for dinner at good dining places, and writing lengthy love letters to each other even though we usually meet during school. I would always remember how he loved to kiss my forehead, waved and blow a kiss... [Read More]

The abandoned soul

Empty soul

01 Apr, 2013 08:40 AM

My heart aches and I am only a shell of a person. I set the appearance of being calm, cool, and collected, but I feel so lonely inside. I have no one. I am all alone on this earth. My "friends" do not care about me, they only want things from me. When I was young, I used to be so happy and cheerful until my mother began to emotionally torment me. She beat me with wire hangers, extension cords, and wires. Of course, to her she was only " punishing me for misbehaving" but I knew she was only taking out her frustrations. To this day I will not forget the bruises she left me and the pain and torment that she caused me. Always calling me stupid and saying I would not amount to any hiring. Truth is, I forgive her because she is my mother.. A few... [Read More]

Damned by Love

xXLauren LucidityXx

I tell this story for times ago, ages past and memories lost. Damned am I, and damned forever. Eternities of endless wandering I must suffer... and all because I, a hopeless girl, and a foolish boy fell in love... I fiddled with my thumbs aimlessly, the crisp October breeze pricking at my arms. My blonde hair was gently blowing in the breeze like golden tendrils of flame, dancing with the setting sun. My smiling eyes were set on one thing, and one thing only... Shawn's front door. My stomach jumped when I witnessed the knob turning, the deep, violet door slowly creaking open. Gradually, in which every second was like an hour, my mouth turned up in a smile from the jitters of his arrival. His silhouette was jet black against the blinding light erupting from his home. The radiant glow from inside was electrifying against the fading sky, flowing... [Read More]
