Broken Dreams

Wilhuff Tarkin

20 Dec, 2017 08:27 AM

On the new Petition by Henry Walsh. I was one of the first 40 signatures, I advertised this petition on all social media I could from Facebook to Gab and YouTube to Twitter. Etc. I was surprised that while of course fans are divided on the Disney take of star wars, never did I think I would have my life threatened over the franchise. Henry Walsh also has been threatened, that people would hack his email, that they would attack him. I have been told I would suffer if I kept going through with this petition and kept posting it. In 1977 George Lucas strived to make a movie that nobody wanted to be a part of, it was difficult and he was told to change it and put all his money and time into it. He created history and made a huge change to cinema everywhere and the future... [Read More]

My most Terrifying experience

John L.

13 Oct, 2017 02:58 PM

Just to let you know before I get into this every story I put on here, including this one, is 100% true. These are real experiences. Anyways let's get into the scariest thing that has ever happened to me. I am currently a senior in high school. I have been in public schools my entire life. I always heard about school shootings happening but after being in school for so long I thought to myself "that won't ever happen to me" and it didn't for a while. Last school year at the end of the year (2nd to last week to be exact) we were just getting out of our 5th class of the day. My school is open meaning we walk outside to get to another class. I was walking with friends and talking having a good time. From about 200 feet away from where I was there were... [Read More]

To He Whom Wishes To Know (Part 1)

Theodore B. Dove (D.T)

28 Sep, 2016 11:38 PM

To he whom wishes to know, Unless you yourself are a stout dis-believer, or a religious person of high standing and pure heart, it is ill advised you should continue reading this poorly scrawled narrative of the events that incessantly haunt my nights and days. Turn instead to another tale of another person, and allow your soul to remain unperturbed by those archaic spirits awakened by my meddling; an act of foolishness for which there is no remedy. Do not think the fact my heart still proceeds with its methodical pumping that my horror is none the less, nor that my shaky breaths show any true sign of life - for how can one live after being faced with heinous secrets not meant for mere mortals, instead belonging to something mightier and older then any god. Even now, as I write this final letter, I hear their voices whispering behind... [Read More]

An Indian Girl's marriage

Bourne

07 Jan, 2015 08:30 AM

There are no words to express the vain that one feels when the person you love and had made promises of marriage with, is marrying someone else out of the blue and you keep wondering what went wrong, what did I miss and how can I change the situation. But its not like the movies where you approach a girl's father tell him that you will do anything for her and he gives her hand to you. In real world, one has to watch her getting married to that someone else and feel each moment of doing so like a bunch of needles striking your heart. Well this is a sad sad story of my brother who was so cheerful, so jovial, a high spirited man suddenly became mute like a bird who has lost its wings and couldn't fly again. It started like all love stories where a boy... [Read More]

Yin and Yang

Kevin

14 Jun, 2014 05:24 PM

This is a tale of two people brought together but then torn apart by insecurity and anxiety. Their names are Davis and Elizabeth and they are both living in an average sized town in Texas. The story starts off with them both in high school living their lives not knowing how they would change at a drop of a hat. Davis was a very emotional young man, he had many disorders which were ADHD, Anxiety, depression, and not a disorder but the worst of all is that he a crippling insecurity. He constantly felt like no one cared for him even though he had a whole family who would take a bullet for him. He never had many friends though, he could never manage to keep them since he was so insecure about himself. He would constantly want to talk to girls he liked and was just so aggressive in... The Explanation

Ambrosia

19 Apr, 2014 11:08 PM

So before I get into the actual story, I'm going to tell you a little bit about it first. See, I'm depressed, but there are a lot of my friends, one in particular, who aren't. I really want to talk to them about it, to let them know how I'm feeling, but I know that they'll never fully understand what it's like to feel yourself falling apart and not being able to do anything about it. One night, while lying in my bed thinking about it, I thought of this sort of story, sort of metaphor. So here it is. You're on the top of a mountain in summer. The air is warm, friendly, fresh and clear. The sun is shining and the breeze is caressing your skin and running loving fingers through your hair. You are loving every minute of it, but you aren't exactly aware of how good... [Read More]

Lies & Games

Rosey

13 Aug, 2012 07:43 AM

I'm Rosey, 18, here is my story. I Met him in summer school, July fifth, 2012 I didn't notice him until the entire class was seated, I looked around the room seeing all the new people I would have to spend half of my summer with. Then he caught my eye and I was just mesmerized, gorgeous dark brown hair, blue/green eyes. He sat at the back of the class in the corner, one row in front of me, he sat alone focused on his work, I couldn't stop staring, and he was just so...gorgeous in my eyes. But, I brushed it off a guy like that would never go for a girl like me. You could tell by just looking at us, we're complete opposites. Me, the short, shy, secretly dorky girl, who’s 18 but looks like 15, with the glasses and Him, the perfect 10, 17 year old,... [Read More]

lost innocence

June 29, 2009, 4 days after my 15th birthday, I was just getting off of work. I had to take my dog for a walk. Mom and dad weren't home. I walked on the lonely dirt road. A man in a red sweatshirt was in the distance coming towards me. I live in a small town where everyone knows everyone. But I didn't know who he was. The closer he got the more I realized I couldn't see his face. Only his piercing black eyes. He watched me with every step I took. When he finally reached me he stole my dog from me and hit her over the head. The next thing I know I am on the ground and he is on top of me ripping my pants of. His dirty scarred hand covering my mouth. I could feel the tears running down my face. I remember thinking... [Read More]
