Dear Love of my Life, I was twelve. 6th grade. last year before middle school. I had made a deal with myself that year. No crushes. No love songs. No stupid valentines. 5th grade was a disaster. 4th was worse. I just wanted... a break. And that's what I was going to have. Until I saw your face. You were not the kind of kid most girls were into, to say the least. But I was not like most girls. from the moment your piercing blue eyes met my gaze, I knew you were the one. The one who would't betray me, or ignore me, or force me. No, you were truly mine. No matter how hard I tried, I couldn't fight it. You were funny. you were smart. you were a bit insane. I loved insane. You introduced me to new people. I... Didn't have anyone to introduce you... [Read More]

Never thought I would fall in love with a serial killer. He was my high school sweetheart,My handsome husband, my boo....and my tear in my heart. I'm an idiot for falling in love with him I wish I never spoke to him, or had kids with him or even looked at him. I guess it's because of my bad luck I fell in love with him. I don't exactly feel in love with him no more I just feel so sick. The day I married him it was amazing I felt like I'm going to die happy and live with hope and happiness forever. Our honey moon was a tropical breeze in the Bahamas it was beautiful and charming. We spent almost ten thousand in it but it so worth it. Almost worth it. We relaxed and had fun. Two months flew being married it was great. We never fought... [Read More]

THE DARK SIDE OF LOVE

A TRUE STORY OF MY BEST FRIEND... When I think about love, the first think comes to my mind is GOD. GOD loves us some much, his creation is so perfect, so that we can do any work by ourselves. Till now, we reached from the bed of Oceans to the end of our solar system in space to learn and gain more and more knowledge. GOD is so powerful, without almighty we can’t lead our daily life, we all see GOD everyday but we never realize that anytime, this world is a gift of GOD, to share with each one of us. So ultimately, all religions in this world are meant to lover each other but that seems to be not happening. We, humans are so abhor to each other, they can’t understand the meaning of life and the words of religions. Even sometime GOD seems to be blind.... [Read More]

An Indian Girl's marriage

Bourne

07 Jan, 2015 08:30 AM

There are no words to express the vain that one feels when the person you love and had made promises of marriage with, is marrying someone else out of the blue and you keep wondering what went wrong, what did I miss and how can I change the situation. But its not like the movies where you approach a girl's father tell him that you will do anything for her and he gives her hand to you. In real world, one has to watch her getting married to that someone else and feel each moment of doing so like a bunch of needles striking your heart. Well this is a sad sad story of my brother who was so cheerful, so jovial, a high spirited man suddenly became mute like a bird who has lost its wings and couldn't fly again. It started like all love stories where a boy... [Read More]

I Remember You

Scarletta

I remember you in junior high. You were a year younger than me so of course we didn't socialize, but I liked you. You were dating another geek. You ran track. You played the trumpet. I remember you in high school. The marching band went to a trip to Hollywood, and my friend and I (who weren't really part of it but along for the ride anyway) ran into you and your friends and decided that you all were much more fun than the people that we were stuck with. I remember listening to you play 'Round Midnight. I remember feeling a stirring in the pit of my stomach. I remember you during my Senior Prom. We called it the anti-Prom because we all couldn't afford tickets so we went out, me and my boyfriend, you and your girlfriend, and my friend and her boyfriend, all part of the same... [Read More]

I Love You

A story on saving relationships.. Learn from this.. “When I got home that night as my wife served dinner, I held her hand and said, I’ve got something to tell you. She sat down and ate quietly. Again I observed the hurt in her eyes. Suddenly I didn’t know how to open my mouth. But I had to let her know what I was thinking. I want a divorce. I raised the topic calmly. She didn’t seem to be annoyed by my words, instead she asked me softly, why? I avoided her question. This made her angry. She threw away the chopsticks and shouted at me, you are not a man! That night, we didn’t talk to each other. She was weeping. I knew she wanted to find out what had happened to our marriage. But I could hardly give her a satisfactory answer; she had lost my heart to... [Read More]

My Friend

Richie

30 Aug, 2010 02:21 AM

I Have a story I wish to tell from a friend's perspective. It was a normal day, clear, sky, blue. I walked to school, and I stumbled on this pretty girl. I Look at her, she looks back. We smile, and she waves. This was the beginning of a wonderful relationship. At lunch, I saw her sitting at a table alone. I decided to go and accompany her. She seems to appreciate me coming to sit with her. We talked and talked, and told me how her mother recently died in a car accident. I Tell her that I felt sorry and that nobody needs to die this way. I Tell her she isn't really gone. She seems to cheer up a small bit. The next day, I go to school again, and finally get the nerve to ask her out. She accepts. I Impatiently watch the clock as it... [Read More]
