I Love You

A story on saving relationships.. Learn from this.. “When I got home that night as my wife served dinner, I held her hand and said, I’ve got something to tell you. She sat down and ate quietly. Again I observed the hurt in her eyes. Suddenly I didn’t know how to open my mouth. But I had to let her know what I was thinking. I want a divorce. I raised the topic calmly. She didn’t seem to be annoyed by my words, instead she asked me softly, why? I avoided her question. This made her angry. She threw away the chopsticks and shouted at me, you are not a man! That night, we didn’t talk to each other. She was weeping. I knew she wanted to find out what had happened to our marriage. But I could hardly give her a satisfactory answer; she had lost my heart to... [Read More]

Dear Dad <3

Dear Dad, I still remember that dark night. Your sister or my aunt was here to visit you. She came with your crippled step mom and her husband who loved you as a brother so much. They were laughing about stories until there was a screech of police cars outside. The Vibrant colors of red and blue filled the house through the windows. I was only about to be seven so my mom told me to hide in the room. I was really nosy i know, so i pressed my ear to the door. My hair got in my eyes but i had a feeling of what i was going to hear was going to be really important so i ignored it. I heard my mom footsteps go down the main hall and the click of the door opening. She screamed. I stood up but i thought of her getting... [Read More]

my mother

i was seven when i watched my mother drown in her own blood and mucus. four years before i was born, she had been diagnosed with lung cancer. she battled this horrible war for more than ten years before crashing and burning, eventually dying. cancer puts on an excellent poker face; just when you think you're better, you then are lying in some pathetic hole in the ground for eternity. just a month before she had died, she had actually been laughing and talking and she had even been out in the garden a little. sure, the chemo had made her loose all her hair and she looked like a zombie because she was so pale, but my dad was still so madly in love with her. in fact, i'd hear him cry every night before she left, and sometimes look into their room and see him kneeling besides their... Sabrina

21 Oct, 2012 04:17 PM

There was a family with two kids. A girl of 14 and a boy of 9. He hated her sister for ignoring him. But inside he was loving her. He was ready to do anything for her. Every time he was going to see her in her room, she always had a bad comment to tell him. He was sad that her sister wouldn't let him enter in his room and play with him. Sometimes he wished only he could sat on her bed and watch her in her room. He wouldn't do anything bad to come back an other time... But it never happened. The girl had her owns reasons. She was bullied at school and her dad was abusing her. She felt terrible inside. She wanted to protect her little brother from all what she called "the horrible world of adults". She was having dark ideas. Letters were... [Read More]

God's GIft

Let's start this story out with a not so sad quote. "I will not say, do not cry. For not all tears are of an evil." -Gandalf the White. Okay, here we go... I was six years old at the time. I had a good life, outside my house. I had friends, I had talents, I was liked. I would go to school, ready to learn, go to recess, see my friends at lunch. It was the most exciting thing. The only down side was going home. I had to ride the bus. It wasn't a long ride, I was the second stop. The bad part, was walking up the front steps. I would debate on whether to go in, or stay out there. My parents wouldn't notice anyways. I ended up walking inside. I slowly turned the handle, making as little noise as possible out of fear that I... [Read More]

True love

Tory

17 Jan, 2013 08:47 PM

She pulled her sleeve down and looked into the mirror. She asked herself, "Why me, why did he have to choose me?" She walked to her bedroom and laid on her bed silent and still. She pulled her sleeve up again and ran her finger up and down the bloody newly made cuts on her arm. She found her blade, pulled up her shirt, and started cutting her slim stomach from her ribs and down to her waist. Blood poured out of her. Just then her mom came into her room, because she had heard her crying, she walked over to her bleeding daughter asking, "What the hell did you do?!" She replied, "I...I cut myself, be...because I was... Uh raped..." Her mom slapped her until she was out of breath. She walked it of the room with anger in her eyes. She came back into the room with a... [Read More]

A dog's life

John L.

So I have been asked for more stories and new ones. Before I start this one I have to let you know that unlike the rest of my stories this one won't be a real one. I couldn't think of anything I am comfortable sharing at this point in time. So again *this is a made up story (obviously)* but I still hope you enjoy it. I'm brought into this world, just a tiny little thing, with a few brothers and sisters by my side. They are small too. My mother is kissing me and and my brothers/sisters. A few weeks go by and I get bigger. I am starting to attempt a few steps. I still stumble around because I am so young. A few weeks go by and a family walks in and starts looking at my family. They pick a few of my brothers and sisters and... [Read More]

Your Dad Will Never Love You...

Kimberly Frizzell

21 Sep, 2017 01:22 AM

I use to see my dad when I was younger, for some reason whenever I grew up I would see him less and less. I was on my bike and I got ran over by a motorcycle. We went to the doctors and we had to get my dad information but we didn't have it so we had to call him and the last thing he said to me was that he loved me... Couple years later and I haven't seen my dad since that accident. Christmas 2015 I was at my grandmas and my whole dads side of the family was in so we were gonna get family pictures. The day before family pictures my cousin said "I'm not suppose to tell you this but I heard your dad might be coming and I thought you should know." I was stunned and I just said thanks for telling me... [Read More]

First Time Gone Forever

Elizabeth

When your parents and everyone tells you to wait until you are married to have sex, you should listen. I wish so desperately that I could take it back. When you have sex at a young age and then it doesn't work out, you feel devastated and crushed. There are no words to describe the pain and hurt I went through. But I am going to tell my story, and I hope maybe that one person who reads this will wait. It was a few months into my sophomore year in high school and I was 16 years old. Everything was going really well and I had a lot of friends. I was in the choir this year and the choir and band was taking a trip to Nevada in December. Everyone was really excited, including me. A few days before our Christmas break, my really good friend at the... [Read More]
