dream

24 Jun, 2012 01:12 AM

Me, my mum and dad were heading off on a family vacation for my 11th birthday , I was looking forward to the holiday but not the six hour drive there . I remember my mum and dad waking me up at seven to get dressed and eat my breakfast next thing I knew we were in the car . My mum in the passenger seat my dad driving and me in the back seat. A few hours later the rain started to hit on the car and the sun was going down so my dad decided he would speed up just to catch the time back up but I guess you would say that would be the biggest regret of his short lived life. It was now around 11 o clock and almost pitch black . I jumped as my dad suddenly slammed his foot on the brake my... [Read More]

where is dad...

mia

14 Nov, 2014 08:07 AM

A young girl grew up without a father. She smiled happily every day, but inside she was dying. Everywhere she looked, there was a happy, full family. A baby, mom, and dad. It was complete. They were happy. But not in her world. There was only her and her mom. At school, they would have father-daughter dances. The girl would always stay home. Her mom always told her that she was her "mom and dad." Eventually, she got curious. She wanted to know who her dad was. She walked up to her mom in her room and shifted nervously. "Mom?" The little girl asked. Of course the mother looked up. "Yes baby?" "Where's my dad?" The mother's eyes widened, before they started to tear up. The little girl was eight by this time. It scarred her. That night, when the girl laid in her mom's bed, and tried her best... [Read More]

A tragic story of two orphans

Georgina Martin-Gentleman

27 Dec, 2012 12:48 PM

The story begins with an 8 year old boy called Kevin who was part of a strict but loving family of four including, of course, Kevin. His parents whom he loved dearly were called Susan and Adam. They had - much to Kevin's dislike - a six year old daughter called Lilly. Lilly loved her brother and knew deep down Kevin loved her as well. Then on the 5th January 2005 the family decided to go out for a drive and watch the sunset, little did they know that this drive would turn into a blood bath of misery. The family were so happy singing away merrily to the radio, then suddenly another car swerved and crashed into them, then the car started to spin. The children thought it would never stop. Eventually it stopped. Kevin heard his sister crying and crawled his way over to her to see if... [Read More]

Seems Like Yesterday When I Last Talked to You

Jane Sherwood

My stepfather suggested I post this story here so maybe that I can feel better telling someone about the tragedy that happened years ago of losing my most precious best friend.. my sister. My mother gave birth to my sister on her first marriage, after her husband died of lung cancer due to heavy smoking she married again and had me, then my parents divorced when I was about 3 because my father cheated on her and made another lady pregnant...Then she married again, thankfully this time she married the right man. We were so happy as a family, we had our first family camp, picnic, and field trip, I wore matching clothing and shoes with my sister and we did everything together, but happiness never lasts long. My mother had a car accident when I was 5, our family broke apart again. My sister went to study in France... [Read More]

Me and my brother are very close. He is 2 years older than me and on the football team. I would always tell him that he was my favorite person in the world and nothing would change that. Even though we always fight, we still love each other. But one day something bad happens to the both of us.. It was the last football game of the year. We were on our way to a party that was at his friends house and he promised me that he would let me do whatever i could and i did.. But i think i did a little to much. I remember that night so clear. We were on our way home when this truck came out of nowhere and it hit right into his truck. The truck started to flip like crazy and it wouldn't stop. When it finely stopped i asked... [Read More]

My note, You decide what to do...

Carter Mullins

22 Jun, 2013 03:40 AM

Every one who reads this please give me your honest opinion. My name is Carter Douglas Mullins. And my whole life has been swaying to both sides. You may have read before a story I write called Mason and I. Well if you read it all you would know that for a lot of my life I have been a suicidal. It really sucks how all these people want to help sometimes because somewhat they are giving me even more reasons. Yes I have loving parents, and other family and yes I take a pill called paxel to help me get happy. And yes I used to have a therapist. And now though it has become exceedingly harder to move on. I cant help to look back at my parents and my family to see what they have been through. So far I have lost my twin, a couple of... [Read More]

Love Of A Mother

Vina Angeline Waruwu

09 Dec, 2011 12:10 AM

The road has been hobbled, because she was already more than 70 years, so if she had any choice at all, she is rarely able and willing to leave the house. Although she had a daughter, she was staying in a nursing home, because her presence is not desired. Still remembered by her, when the father of the child ran away after being her pregnant without going to take responsibility for his actions. In addition, the family demanded that she abort the unborn child, because his family was ashamed to have a daughter who was pregnant before marriage, but she still defended it, and therefore she was expelled from her parents' home. In addition to the shame that should be on the responsibility, she had to work hard at the factory to finance her life. When she gave birth to her daughter, no one was with her. She does not... lost mom and brothers.

Life sucked since day one. Beatings from my dad most of the time. The worst part was watching him stomp on my mom until her eyes were bloody and her hand was broken. Later that night he stomped on my brother into the corner. I couldnt do anything but scream and beg him to stop. but that didnt do any good. All i wanted in life was a happy family. With siblings who all got along, and a mom and dad who loved each other. But obviously that wasnt going to happen. It got so bad my mom and i had to walk each other to the bathroom every time one of us had to use it. We had locks on our doors that had to use a key. and everywhere she went, i had to go with, or my dad would try to hurt her. Life was so horrible,... [Read More]

Sticks and Clicks

Emelyn

My parents aren't home much. They never have been. My childhood, as far as I can remember, was a slew of babysitters of varying trustworthiness every night, every weekend, every day off, and every day of every summer. My mom liked to (still likes to) go out to bars and casinos, so my dad took her to wherever suited her fancy that evening to make sure she didn't get into any big trouble or cheat on him. I've never bothered to ask them about their escapades, since they always come home at almost two in the morning, and since I don't particularly care to know. Most of the time, it was just me and my sister, Halle, at home with some stranger who was content to sit on the couch with a bag of potato chips and watch TV. That was fine with us, too. If there was enough light... [Read More]
