Why him

Arianna

I couldnt make out why he had to be so...troublesome. He always has to have is way. He always has to have any girl he wants. He had the most amazing, not-a-care-in-the-world life. Why did he have to step into mine? Ethan Parker: The most stubborn guy on the planet. Star football player and total jackass. Every girl is head over heels for him. I just dont really understand why. He has terrible grades, hes slept with half the school, and he doesnt care about anyone but himself. The only thing he really has going for him is his hair, his body, his smile...i just mean he doesnt have a lot of good qualities. But hey, at least hes going to college. Mondays were my tutoring days. I usually come for about a couple hours so it will look good on my college application. I was just finishing up and... [Read More]

Okay! I'm here to tell all the truth about my life cause yeah why not sometimes we just have to say what we feel, expressing our emotions. Some people do it with music, others rite in they're notebooks,or there is lucky people who talk to they're best friend and get help and support, but people like me.. or probably you dear reader. People like us who doesn't show what they feel and sometimes go into selfharming.. But tell to yourself that even these lucky people with a good friend, when they tell a story they always change some points to make it better.. Anyway I choose this way to express myself. Let's beginning by the fact that I got a bad relation with my dad, even if I was young I understood that he just wanted to play but I wasn't enjoying his game and at the and of every game I was... Sad truths

Courtney

"What are you doing!?" Josh was my sister's friend. He was new to the school his sophomore year and he was now a senior. I was a sophomore. I met Josh a few months prior at my sister's birthday party. I didn't talk to him much and there were many girls swooning over him since he was very attractive. I already knew I had no chance so I didn't even entertain the idea that he might notice me. It was October, not far from Halloween. I was in shoprite looking for cookies and other snacks for a movie night my sister and I were planning since my dad would be leaving us alone for the night. I heard someone behind me say in a fake deep voice "what are you doing!?" I quickly turned around to see Josh smiling at me. For a second I was confused until I realized... [Read More]

love will tear you up

casey

Have you ever felt love for someone To the point past emotional bliss? I have, and still do I married her. I herd codependency was a bad thing for couples. To feed off of each others feeling could cause a break up? I doubt that theory very much. Maybe my marriage isn't the definition of that, its more like or love grew its own vascular system and we thrive off the respect, trust, and support from each other. It was a cold morning I can feel it in my bones. I couldn't wait to feel the heat of the melted steel inside the mill. I didn't waste any time in the locker room chatting about the weather I knew all the small talk. Straight into work ten minuets early my crew had no idea I was even there. I stayed busy alone better then in a group. A coworker found... [Read More]

The upside down of life

Atara

07 Dec, 2016 05:46 PM

I was young and afraid but as a fifteen year old, the last thing I expect to feel was despondence. Due to the fact I worked as a horse caretaker for an aristocrat and his family, the commoners took pity on me. At first, I thought I knew what went in their heads but never understood the depths of it until the storming of Bastille and when all of the aristocrats were taken captive. However, before some of the aristocrats were taken captive, a bunch of them were taken out from their comfy homes and shot in public. The ones responsible for their deaths were people randomly taken from the crowd and forced to hold a gun and shoot lives that were as equal as theirs. The day before my master, Lord Jacob, and his wife, Lady Maria, and two children were taken. I was in the stables having a... [Read More]

For you Josh

Rachel McConnell

10 Nov, 2016 05:19 AM

During my first year of high school I had befriended a young, beautiful girl named Alexis. She was one of those friends that I just immediately clicked with. She had short black hair that was constantly straight, always brushing her chin when she turned her head. Her eyes were the most brilliant shade of blue with what seemed to be purple hidden in her light irises, and her skin was a soft white ivory. Over all her appearance made all the boys at our school swoon for her. She was an honor student, always maintaining a 4.0 and she had the most amazing personality. She had the ability to always appear happy and confident, and always willing to help anyone who needed it. But notice I said appear happy, really she was hiding a dark secret. My sweet, beautiful friend had been suffering from manic depression most of her life... [Read More]

Summer love, Summer lost

Marie Markham

10 Nov, 2016 12:52 PM

From the day we were born he had been my best friend. The only constant in my world of chaos. One faithful day our friendship blossom into something so much more. Summer of 2011 (11 yrs. old) We sat on the steps outside our apartment building, there had been a big black out, not a light in sight and just above our head there was a sky full of stars, more than we had ever seen. But, somehow my eyes couldn't move from him. He sat with his head in his hands; so, I asked him what was wrong he just shook his head and said "nothing" but I knew him better. I watched him carefully as I set my head in my hands and looked to him with a smile. His lips twitched but he quickly turned away. I moved alittle closer slightly nudged him with my elbow, a... Not so sad

Clary Barns

08 Nov, 2016 11:20 PM

Another day, Another waist of my time. My mom is going on and on about how she and her boyfriend are fighting. Again. I lean back and yawn, stretching my arms out. I'm tired, I haven't gotten much sleep these past few days, cause all I hear is my mother yelling at her boyfriend. I get up and walk away, she is too busy talking to notice. My name is Amber,I am small, and have long black hair and ugly green eyes. I am 17 and live in Woodboorn, Virginia. You might not have heard of it, it's is infact a extremely small town. I am the nobody at my school. You know those cliche cliques, yeah well we have those. The popular, the nerds, the goths, the stoners and then there is me, the nobody who is friends with another nobody.I can already tell you think this story is... [Read More]

To He Whom Wishes To Know (Part 1)

Theodore B. Dove (D.T)

28 Sep, 2016 11:38 PM

To he whom wishes to know, Unless you yourself are a stout dis-believer, or a religious person of high standing and pure heart, it is ill advised you should continue reading this poorly scrawled narrative of the events that incessantly haunt my nights and days. Turn instead to another tale of another person, and allow your soul to remain unperturbed by those archaic spirits awakened by my meddling; an act of foolishness for which there is no remedy. Do not think the fact my heart still proceeds with its methodical pumping that my horror is none the less, nor that my shaky breaths show any true sign of life - for how can one live after being faced with heinous secrets not meant for mere mortals, instead belonging to something mightier and older then any god. Even now, as I write this final letter, I hear their voices whispering behind... [Read More]
