Touch You Hand

Dorcha Aingeal

27 Aug, 2011 08:57 PM
I see the world in black and grey
It used to be so bright,
The end comes for all I?m told
Maybe he was right.

I walk these full, yet empty streets
It?s not the same any more,
The lights don?t glow bright enough
The city?s lost its glor?.

People came, then were gone,
I never noticed and they moved on,

Gone

Marc

17 Jul, 2016 08:49 PM
Gone, the best time of my life
the loss I have, I now visualize
it is gone now, and so are you
at heavens gate, you now pass through

You thought you'd leave none behind
but at the the time, you were so blind
reckless, sad and so wrong
but still, you're gone

We could have cured your depression
just by one simple question

White Roses

Derek Tyrrell

09 Nov, 2011 05:56 AM
A petal from white roses
gently floats to its rest
another reluctantly follows
knowing its not its best.

The rest look down with wilting heads,
their whiteness slowly greying.
a destined journey to their final beds
and lonely stems left swaying.

Finally the last petal takes the plunge
and bids the stems goodbye

THE FINAL ACT

KAMILLE

01 Sep, 2010 01:48 PM
THE FINAL ACT..
screeching tiers , shattering glass
twisted metal , fiber glass
the scene is set it all go's back,
the curtain raised the final act.
sirens raging in the night,
sounds of horror,gasps of fright.
intense pain the smell of blood,
tearing eyes begin to flood.

they pull out are bodies one-by-one.
whats happening,we were only having fun

Sorry

Ella

04 Jun, 2017 06:29 PM
I get up in the morning and I do normal things,
I brush my hair in my room as my sister sings.
We walk to school together side by side,
But even though we're talking other things are on my mind.
We get to school and I plaster on a smile,
I talk to my friends and laugh for a while.
I walk to tutor with no smile on my face,
Cuz the anxiety inside is just eating away.
I feel like they're all staring cuz I'm ugly and fat,
But I'm being paranoid no one's doing that.

I go into tutor and smile again,

Won't Explain

Gaurav Tiwari

29 Jan, 2015 05:14 PM
Wounds may come and go,
Pain is what we feel when we undergo,
They heal with time leaving scars,
They won’t explain,
The scars won’t explain the pain,
The pain of losing you.

When you met me you said "forever"
Now that you're gone I feel it was "never"
I cried a lot because it pained a lot,
My heart was filled with fears,
Face drenched with tears.

The Stationary Boy

Walter William Safar

14 Nov, 2011 09:42 AM
His little dark street
Is at home in the silky cobweb;
His little dark street
Is only loud in the missionaries? prayers,
It elicits a gaze in very few people,
It is but an uninvited guest to life.

The stationery boy hands out his beautiful fliers,
Like a messenger of his little dark street.
In his big clear eyes a tear is born,
Not as an accusation,
But as wonderful love,

If I Had Someone

If I Had Someone
By Austin R. Steiner

If I had someone,
More than a friend,
I would make time,
For you, I will tend.
Love and care,

With all my might,
You stole my heart,
And locked it tight.

His Daughter

Ashley

18 Nov, 2016 08:41 PM
She was behind a wall,
when she saw her father beat up her mom
She heard cries,
but soon found out it was her...
Her mother silent as mouse cried...
She watched as her father drew lines on her mothers back with a knife..

10 years later her father was gone..
She had no one to go to..
Her mother left her when she was six..
She grew up in a foster home
2 years after living in that home she ran away..

Can You See It?

kalie belle

01 Jan, 2014 08:51 AM
Can you hear it?
Can you hear it?
As your ear touches my heart,Can you hear it?
The mourning sound of two heart beats.

Do you smell it?
Do you smell it?
As you take a whiff of the aura around me,Do you smell it?
The rotten flesh of the inhuman.

Are you seeing it?
Are you seeing it?
