Goodbye

Silence

I'm leaving today; it's called "moving on".
A quiet act of absence, to escape the undone.
If I decide to stay, where my sorrows are kept
I'd have to face another day, of cold neglect

And even if I stay here, I'd be falling apart
A quiet, hurtful ending, breaking my heart.
Rewinding the time, before you hurt me so
That's where, my love, I wish I could go.

Don't grieve, don't mourn. I can't bear to see
You so desperately, crying these tears for me.
The sky on this day, it sheds its bitter tears
But that doesn't justify you for all those years.

So I pack up right now, I'm gone from your life,
I hope this hurt, like a stab from a knife.
And this isn't just a sweet, nor bitter farewell,
It's indeed, a lore, that my heart may tell.
