The Engulfed Dream

The girl in my dream that night,
Broke my slumber with her sweet voice,
Told me everything she felt for me,
Revealed every secret she had kept.

Forced me too to disclose everything,
Everything which was hidden till now,
Kept hidden from everyone,
All of it got vanished soon,
As soon I opened my eyes.

The only thing I remember,
Her innocent face and sweet voice,
Every night I tried to recall,
The dream I had that night,
But failed till I saw you,


I don't know how to say it,
To make it sound so true,
I'll say it how I feel it,
You’re the one in my thoughts,
You’re the reason for no more dreams,
It’s because you keep me up all the night,

I can’t even begin to say,
How I feel for you the way,
But the truth I must say,
Is that,
I'm in love with you
Not just for your looks, but what's inside,
Hopefully one day, you'll be all mine!
