Sadness shackled to my ankle

why do i love sadness you ask?
why do i love shedding tears?
because it is all i know........
it is all that is familiar to me
Sadness follows me everywhere like a shadow
wherever i am, the sadness lingers behind me
it is shackled to my ankle, locked with a key
never to be unlocked until Ali my love will love me again 
and set me free (from the sadness)
