Colorful strangers

Like a child. I expect him to 
just walk through the door.
But it's only these familiar strangers...
odd disfigured faces.

Just smiling and trying to grab me.
Clowns dancing in he suns flames. 
Stomping away the dark gray shadows that lie motionless on the floor.

The gases changes their colors 
as the morph along with the smoke.
I'm slowly becoming 1. Chameleons of my insanity.

Been wondering what this life is
people come and go surely is a bliss
but there comes a time when everything vanished
and I just don't understand 
how they easily established

they've been encouraging to go for your goal
when all of a sudden they give me a howl
of these people that easily let me go

I remember the good times we had that we can no longer have.
I remember the time you chased me around the house, caught me in your arms, and spun around.
I remember you arms wrapped around my waist and me wearing your jacket just to keep me warm.
I remember you lips upon mine and people telling us we're a cute couple.
I remember...

I remember your smile, your eyes and your everything.
I remember us.
Now that we have to say goodbye forever,
I'm scared.
I'm scared that I'm NOT going to remember you when you leave.

It's golden heart,
completely forgotten, 
lies in the golden cradle:
