There was a boy, I loved him so,
but then he had to let me go.
He took another upon his knees,
and whispered her things he never told me.

Late at night, the moon shone bright,
my parents came home searched for me both left and right.
On my own, on my bed,
cried and shouted; my feelings for life were never said.

I glanced at myself for one last time,
how could he commit such a crime.
I laid there upon my bed,
with stupid thoughts rushing through my head.

Now, Stood standing in the center of the room,
My hand held to what I thought would solve my doom.
I closed my eyes and said without fear,
"forgive me mum and dad" I ended my prayer.

Mum and dad knocked and knocked,
my door they broke,
and found me hanging from a rope.
They found a letter wrote in red,
only to think that things were better off said.

"Love me tender,
love me sweet,
keep this poem till' we meet.
and on my headstone draw a dove,
to show the world,
I died for love"
