Love Is Patient

As he works out all his stress,
He cries out the tears of loneliness,
If only he'd said something before,
Before the love of his life walked out the door,

He tries to stay strong,
At least there are still friends,
But inside he know's the torture will never end,
Yet 'til his last breath he'll love her,

As dearly as before,
Hoping there's still love left in store,
He waits for her patiently as she's with another,
Just hoping she'll see,
How happy she can be,

If only I hadn't waited,
If only I tried,
As I continue to love her as I cry,
She'll be worth it in the end,
This love isn't just pretend,
I know some day I'll be with her again
