Tears Aren't Enough

Belle

Do you ever fear that you are going to lose someone close to you? Do you ever think that you might not see someone ever again? Well, I didn't. It was the summer after sixth grade. My hometown had just opened a new swimming pool and everyone loved it. Now, I can’t go there anymore without seeing her sleeping on one of the chairs, or dipping her feet in the water. The her I’m talking about was my best friend Erin. We had started hanging out at the beginning of the sixth grade when we were put in a group for a school thing together. After that, we were inseparable. We were always at each other's houses, or going to the pool when it was warm enough. And about half way through summer vacation she stayed a full week at my house. Nothing seemed wrong. A few days after she... [Read More]

He Called Me His

DarlaCal

I was his and he was mine. In my mind, we were the perfect couple and i thought he felt the same way. He told me the sweetest things. He said I was the best thing that ever happened to him, he couldn't imagine life without me. He told me he doesn't know what he did to deserve someone like me. Life was great. We were inseparable...or so i thought. Months passed, and we grew more and more apart. He became distant, started flirting with other girls. Worst of all he started flirting with my best friend and to my misdemeanor she flirted right back. I read the texts, i saw them together. I saw how they looked at each other as if they had some dirty little secret. It broke my heart, tore me to shreds, and left me remains to decompose. In my mind, I believed I couldn't... [Read More]

Do YOU Know The Truth?

ASadStory

26 May, 2015 06:09 PM

I have a story. But I don't want to write it as it opens a closed chapter of my life. it lasted for a very long time and is still on going. Therefore i have decided to write a true story about many people that has been bullied. I want people to understand what we/you have been through. A shrink does not know how we feel. A mental hospital does not know how we feel. Medication does not know how we feel. they say "It takes one to know one" that is what I believe is the mental hospital, the skrink, the medication we stuff down every day. I want the world to know how it is. I want them to actually cry over something they don't understand. I want them to cry over someone they don't know. I want them to cry because we are strong. Because we lived... [Read More]

Heartbroken

Madi

21 Apr, 2013 11:22 AM

She lies there staring aimlessly at the roof as silent as the dead night itself, she try's to figure out why he left, she try's to figure out a reason for him not being here she wants to know why, she is listening to her breathing to distract herself from letting that familiar sour salty tasting water drip from her vibrant pale blue eyes, but the memories just get flooding in past her barriers and walls she has built so high over the past year, the memories of the times she spent with the boy she loved, all the walks along the beach, all the times he gave her his jacket when she was cold, all the times he would make her smile. She cant remember the last time she smiled, nobody can, her friends that have become strangers, her parents that have now become intruders in her home. Her... [Read More]

I Lost My Heart To You

DarknessAngel

It was when I was 12, and I met a boy named Ethan. He was very shy,and wouldn't talk much. Suddenly, he began to talk to me a little. He would talk to me more and more, with each passing day. We traded phone numbers, and we grew closer and closer. One night, he and I kissed for the very first time. It felt like a lovers paradise. 3 years passed (This current year) and we were closer then ever. 6 months ago,he grew shy again, and eventually we talked less and less. 3 months ago,he called me suddenly and asked me to meet him at the park. His voice sounded very rusty, and also very pained and weak. I agreed, and 2 hours later,i was sitting on a cold bench in the park. It was creeping closer to midnight, and I grew very tired of waiting. I also grew very hurt, since he... [Read More]

My Best Friend, My Love

Nathan

21 Apr, 2012 10:56 PM

I sit next to you at lunch, my best friend, and enjoy every second of our time together. When you leave us, I have no reason to stay and socialize with the others in our group. I sit at home, waiting excitedly to get a text back from you, not caring how long it takes you to reply. When you don’t, I shrug and wait anticipatingly for the next time we talk. I go on facebook, coming to your profile. When I see your picture, I think of how lucky I am to call you my friend. I think about you as my mind wanders. When I think about our friendship, I realize my feelings for you. I curse myself for falling for my best friend. When I see you again, however, I can’t imagine being with anyone else. I talk to you about our plans. When we come up... [Read More]

Dear Agony Let Me Go!

CrystalWolfTear

To Everyone I Knew, I don't know what to feel anymore. One minute he's nice, the next he ignores me and acts as if I'm not there. I feel confused and hurt by his actions yet I knew what to expect all along. It hurts to be the wise one who gives useful advice to others yet the one who cannot benefit from that advice. I am beaten down by those questions which echo in my head, exploding with every heart beat. What do i do now? I hide away my suicidal thoughts, so no one knows when to expect me gone, dead. I won't tell anyone. If I die, I'll leave alone in silence. It would be better off that way. He wouldn't care though, so I might aswell ignore him back, when he holds my dead hand, I won't reply. Those screams for help linger in my soul.... [Read More]

last moment with my DAD ;(

frecy maydeen

24 Apr, 2012 04:56 AM

On June 18, 2005, my life changed drastically, not for the better or worse but changed. As I go on to tell you my story you’re going to wonder how I can’t say for the worse, but I hope by the end you will understand. The day started out like any other day, got ready to go to work, and then had to stop by my dad’s girlfriend’s house to copy some things for my pre-school class. The phone then began to ring but I didn't answer it, the answering machine then answered the call and the message began. Little did I know that this message would be the beginning of a change in my life. As I stood making copies, my dad’s voice spoke on the answering machine stating that he was having a stroke and needed help. I then answered told my dad I was on my way... [Read More]

Imagine this

Casey

27 May, 2013 04:16 AM

Okay, imagine this. Being the most "popular" girl in the 6th grade. (As so I thought.) having all the guys like you. Always the center of the attention. You may think I am all for myself, but I am not. I am being serious. I was considered, the "popular girl" not one of those snobby types you see in the movies, like Mean girls, or your occasional drama movie. I was caring. I loved my friends, family, god, everything. I wouldn't ever let anyone or anything change me, and who I was as a person. Imagine having all that, and thinking you're on top of the world, when a new girl moves in. At that time, all the guys started liking her. Yeah it's 6th grade, big whoop. But when you are in 6th grade, and having a guy like you, was like the best thing ever. Back to the... [Read More]
