Broken Dreams

On the new Petition by Henry Walsh. I was one of the first 40 signatures, I advertised this petition on all social media I could from Facebook to Gab and YouTube to Twitter. Etc. I was surprised that while of course fans are divided on the Disney take of star wars, never did I think I would have my life threatened over the franchise. Henry Walsh also has been threatened, that people would hack his email, that they would attack him. I have been told I would suffer if I kept going through with this petition and kept posting it. In 1977 George Lucas strived to make a movie that nobody wanted to be a part of, it was difficult and he was told to change it and put all his money and time into it. He created history and made a huge change to cinema everywhere and the future... [Read More]

Mommy

Im Nathalie

This is the story about my childhood and now. Okay..so where do I start? I was born on August 5 in the hospital (obviously). This hospital is located in the Philippines, yes I'm a filipino. So when I turned 2 years old, my Mom and Dad broke up and I lived with Mom because of custody or something. Sometimes, I would visit Dad (Dad can't visit us or else, my uncle would kill him). I'm actually spoiled. I have a lot of toys but I have no one to play with. I'm just an only child for the twelve years of my life. In that time, I think I feel unloved. I know, stupid right? But c'mon, I'm just 4+ at that time. When I turned 6 or so, I realized that my Mom really loves me. She would kiss me and hug me. And she would buy cakes for... [Read More]

Person

04 May, 2015 06:16 AM

Once upon a time there was a little girl. That little girl had no father but regardless for the most part she was happy. The little girl's family consisted of herself, her mother and her older brother. Throughout the little girls childhood they moved around from one place to another always low on money. With the pay of a single mother the little girl's family found it hard to survive by themselves. When the little girl entered preschool, life was finally going as planned. The little girl's mom had found a good boyfriend and started going back to college. From there on everything started to turn around for the little girl and her family. The family settled down in a cozy house in a pleasant neighborhood and all seemed well. For that little girl life was peaceful and the only worries she had were simple. For years that simple and... My Life.

Kay

02 May, 2013 10:15 PM

It's 5'O clock. 5.2.13. I'm 16 years old sitting here thinking about my life.I have a bad self esteem issue. You and other might not think it's such a huge deal. But it is. To me it's a big deal. Yeah some adults might say it's a phase you go through but this started when I was little and has been going on and on forever. I found a solution. Might not be the best but it helps. Without my smoking I'm scared to see what would happen I feel like it keeps me sane. So I have less then a month of school left and I feel like its going by so slow. I'm failing all my math class yet I don't care. I know that's bad so why do I do it? About two months ago I moved out of my dad's. Why? Well he seems to love... [Read More]

True love

Tory

17 Jan, 2013 08:47 PM

She pulled her sleeve down and looked into the mirror. She asked herself, "Why me, why did he have to choose me?" She walked to her bedroom and laid on her bed silent and still. She pulled her sleeve up again and ran her finger up and down the bloody newly made cuts on her arm. She found her blade, pulled up her shirt, and started cutting her slim stomach from her ribs and down to her waist. Blood poured out of her. Just then her mom came into her room, because she had heard her crying, she walked over to her bleeding daughter asking, "What the hell did you do?!" She replied, "I...I cut myself, be...because I was... Uh raped..." Her mom slapped her until she was out of breath. She walked it of the room with anger in her eyes. She came back into the room with a... [Read More]

Love Of A Mother

Vina Angeline Waruwu

09 Dec, 2011 12:10 AM

The road has been hobbled, because she was already more than 70 years, so if she had any choice at all, she is rarely able and willing to leave the house. Although she had a daughter, she was staying in a nursing home, because her presence is not desired. Still remembered by her, when the father of the child ran away after being her pregnant without going to take responsibility for his actions. In addition, the family demanded that she abort the unborn child, because his family was ashamed to have a daughter who was pregnant before marriage, but she still defended it, and therefore she was expelled from her parents' home. In addition to the shame that should be on the responsibility, she had to work hard at the factory to finance her life. When she gave birth to her daughter, no one was with her. She does not... Am I enough?

Bella

The story starts years ago, I was almost 3, my little sister Chloe Sophia was just born. My father has and still does drugs. Every drug imaginable. My father brought my mother into drugs and luckily she stopped. My father could never hold down a job and claimed things that were untrue, bu my mother thought she loved him so went along with it. He'd leave for weeks, even months at a time. He'd cheat on my mother, lie, and leave. She gained weight. She was 360 by the time i was born...she was a very beautiful woman. (SHE STILL IS!) She tried to fill the hole. When me and my sister were born she only wanted the best for us. I have always been my dads favorite. He hated Chloe, she was the cutest thing ever. I loved her like she was my little girl. I remember the divorce... [Read More]

The End

Alicia

22 Jul, 2011 12:21 AM

It was a random Sunday afternoon, as usual I had just waken up just like I do every weekend (mainly because on the weekends I have no school). My mom and I were sitting downstairs on the two separate couches we had down there, my mom on the sofa and me on the loveseat, watching TV. A commercial had came on when my mother got a call from the person from court saying that my father hadn't shown up for his court hearing thingy. She must have thought this call was a conversation a 13 year-old shouldn't be hearing, so , as usual, she slipped through the sliding, glass, back door peering through the glass at me as she continued to chat away on the phone. I could faintly hear the conversation when the parts of the show were real quiet, though they were only tidbits I heard. She came... [Read More]
