Who knew a school hallway could change your life, for better or worse...I remember the day I saw him. Bright blonde dyed hair and brown eyes that told a thousand stories with one glimpse of the eye. He could capture any soul. He wasn't super smart nor was he stupid, but one thing he did was never give up hope without a smile. His smile shinned like the heavens shinned over earth. His smile was the light to my day, without light how can you see where you are heading? Up? Down? Wandering in the darkness is what he did to me once he left. Senior year in high school my best friend and I were going to see if the guy she liked would give her his number. That was the day I met him. Strumming his guitar in the far corner of the classroom, acting as if he... [Read More]

Silence

Danelle

15 Dec, 2015 03:16 AM

Not long ago a 11 year old girl was admitted into the hospital. She spent her time looking out the Window and smiling. It was as if the view was beautiful. Although it was just a basketball court. Every night she, just listened to the sound of the beeps. It broke the silence of the cold nights. When people asked her if she was sad her reply was " a smile can fix a problem ". No one could see her sadness. Her imagination had covered all over her room. Some say she could bring a light into a and room. Her mask fooled everyone. That was until the day he met her................. A nurse had come into her room with a boy around her age. He looked at her with bright eyes "wow your so pretty. With your big chocolate coloured brown eyes, small cherry coloured lips and brown hair"... [Read More]

My love for you

Love stories

11 Oct, 2011 07:46 AM

This is a true story. I am 16 years old then, I knew you at secondary school. Although we are of different genders, but we communicate well. We found that friends of other genders have their own best friends, and both of us had none, and without telling, we became best friends. Being best friends, we do things together like eating, playing and studying. I message her everyday, I call her everyday. I think of her everyday in my mind at night. I found out that I love her. But I did not tell her this, I do not want our friendship to end just because of this. So I kept my heart for two years. Then I heard others said that she had a boyfriend that was not my opponent at all. He is good in studies, tall and handsome and richer than me. I am both angry and... [Read More]

Don't Forget Me

Alex

09 Aug, 2011 04:21 PM

As the car made contact with my fragile body, all our memories passed by my eyes. I didn?t think about the pain. I thought about the things I would miss: My High School graduation, getting married, having children. And then, I thought about you. Your smile, your soft hair, the sound of your laugh. All of that would be gone, out of my reach, but the memories will never fade. I will never forget you. You will eventually move on, but all I ask from you, is remember me. Remember our good times, and remember our bad times. Remember our fights, and remember our apologies. My body lands in a heap on the side walk. Blood forms a pool around me. I hear screams from all directions. The car swerves and hits a tree. The driver, injured and clearly intoxicated, stumbles out of the car to my side. ?I?m so... [Read More]

Cloudy Eyes

SnowDreams97

Eyes always clouded with sadness filled with tears, eyebrows so defined so dark so high, eyes so dark so beautiful so mysterious, nose so small so soft, lips so red so tender decorated with a smile as bright as crystals, cheeks so red as an apple, skin as white as pearls, as soft as a delicate petal, hands as small and tender as the ticklish wind, hair so long so dark so thick so shiny and wavy as a running free river, legs so tall and slender, body so fragile so beautiful so sweet. I stumbled upon a Goddess of the Greeks, I never knew they exist, never knew they're here, I have not seen such pair of thick lashes decorating those haunting dark pair of eyes, she had the saddest eyes, her eyes were like a cloud ready to rain, she had the saddest look the saddest voice and... My Life

mayflower

31 Jul, 2011 09:51 PM

I don't know how exactly to start out the story so i guess ill start of with the first sad thing? I was born into this world with a heart condition called I.H.S.S. I can't play any sports, i can't get too mad. My heart rate can't too high or i could die. I can't do many things actually. I can't work out too much and i can't eat many sweets. I found this out when i was 8. I ran to my mom saying i wanted to play a sport. I don't remember what it was, but I've always wanted to play softball. She told me i couldn't. I asked why, and, well, there's the answer. Along with a heart condition, I was born with a gene to be very overweight. I was adopted, and i didn't know that 'til i was about 11. And you know, when your... [Read More]

Jordyn

Jordyn's daddy

15 Jul, 2011 11:10 AM

About 9 years ago, I had my son, Jordyn. Proud father at 18. No job, no education, no mother. Nothing. She left a year after he was born. I saved up for 5 years so I could put myself through school and get a worth while job. One my son could be proud of. One my son could say to his friends and they wouldn't look at him like he had a third eye or something. I went to medical school and rode around in ambulances. Responding to car wrecks and such. Seeing some pretty sick stuff. My son couldn't say "My daddy's a doctor" but he could say "My daddy saves lives". He called me superdad and said I was the best hero in the world. He'd make up stories about how I could fly and saved people from falling rocks and other silly things like a child would.... [Read More]

Love is

Ashley Coulson

30 Mar, 2014 04:59 PM

I had three friends. Eric, Cathleen, Carol. Eric was chased by all the girls in our high school. Cathlyn was one of those popular girls. Cheerleader, sexy, and stylish. Carol was just one of those plain and average girls but still awfully pretty. Cathlyn and Carol were both totally crazy and wacko over Eric. Cathlyn didn't have to do anything to attract Eric, for she was already attractive enough. Carol on the other hand, showered Eric with love and care. Carol wasn't ugly at all. In fact, she looked sweet and pleasant. However, she wasn't a cheerleader and she didn't wear spaghetti-straps or tubes. So like everyone expected, Eric chose Cathleen. While Cathleen was labelled as the cool and attractive type, Carol was just one ordinary and plain girl. Eric always insulted Carol. He was always telling her what a 'Plain Jane' she was and how dumb she looked. It... [Read More]

Surviving Love...

Sarah

30 Jan, 2013 04:34 AM

I was running through the dark streets, barely seeing where I was going. The cold air was practically choking me while I breathed. I knew that I might not be on time but I also knew that if I didn’t try and get there, that I would be haunted of the memory forever. The man I loved needed me. I had received a call that he was going into cardiac arrest and this might be the last day his heart beats. At first I thought they were joking—but when they put Damen on the phone I knew that they were right. I barely recognized his voice, as if he had drunk too much Cough Syrup. I was about to ask him if he was okay when suddenly he screamed dropping the phone. No one bothered to pick it up, so I could hear their voices in the background, shouting orders.... [Read More]

Living a Death

Walker

18 Sep, 2011 08:13 PM

Well, it was the time of Christmas holidays, and I was in 4th standard. It was just a normal morning for me. And for the rest as well. But I guess, not for someone.. As it was first day for her at new school.. New city.. I still remember the moment, when I saw her for the very first time. Sweet innocent face with mixed feeling of excitement and a little fear, pink cheeks, soft red lips, dark hairs.. I was kinda hypnotized. She was the most beautiful gal I ever saw.. I was so fallen in love with her, at the moment. Luckily, we had same taxi that'd escort us to the school. I was so glad to have her there with me. God had completed my universe.. Had granted me MY ANGEL. Soon, we became friends. We'd spend lot of time together.. playing, building sand castles, studying.. Days... [Read More]
