Well... Let me make a long first part of this story short... I'm a 15 year old girl that has seen things no other teenager should see... My older siblings are already out on their own in college. About a year or two ago, my mother had been going back and forth to me and my dad and this other man who ruined our family... Many times such as mom and dad getting a divorce, Beating up my dad, fighting over who gets me, having your dad sign you away like your nothing... That was the basics... But back to the first part of my story... So my dad had signed me off to go to Colorado and sure I was excited, but I knew it wasn't going to be the same... The first time we went to Colorado, everyone such as my oldest brother, my older sister, mom, and... [Read More]

I've lost him because of them.

He was the face I saw in the hallway everyday at school on the way to lunch. The face I looked forward to everyday. The face that I didn't know the story of. The face that caused me to hide my blushing face to keep those eyes from seeing the feelings I had. I felt as if he could read me by just looking into my eyes. The first day we spoke was the Monday after school had ended. I had never said a word to him before it. He messaged me on facebook and we began to talk. He ended up asking me out the next day and I said yes because I knew there was a connection between the two of us. He immediately wanted to come over to meet my parents and see me. I told him I wasn't sure that was a good idea because no... [Read More]

True love

She pulled her sleeve down and looked into the mirror. She asked herself, "Why me, why did he have to choose me?" She walked to her bedroom and laid on her bed silent and still. She pulled her sleeve up again and ran her finger up and down the bloody newly made cuts on her arm. She found her blade, pulled up her shirt, and started cutting her slim stomach from her ribs and down to her waist. Blood poured out of her. Just then her mom came into her room, because she had heard her crying, she walked over to her bleeding daughter asking, "What the hell did you do?!" She replied, "I...I cut myself, be...because I was... Uh raped..." Her mom slapped her until she was out of breath. She walked it of the room with anger in her eyes. She came back into the room with a... [Read More]

The love of a father

Tory

She slowly pushed the blade in to her arm and pulled it down her, feeling the sting, feeling the sense of freedom from everything that had been in her head. There was the singular sharp, sweet sting as the blade sliced her skin. Not to deep but deep enough to make herself bleed, she whispered to herself, "It's just one cut. I'll be ok, just no more." She put the blade down and wiped the blood from the cut she had just made. She looked back down at the blade. "I need more," she thought. She picked the blade up and put it to her arm and made one more, and another and another. After she realized what she had done and how full her arm was of cuts. She cried and started wiping the blood from her arm. "Why did I do this to myself." She looked down at... [Read More]

Start of all Problems

It started towards the end of my 5th grade year. My dad worked for the mortuary and was never home. He could be called to work at any moment and I didn't see him much but I was so close to him. He was the best father. He took me places. He has taken me to Wyoming, Utah, Nebraska, and Kansas. He took us to dinner and we would sit and play Xbox all day together. I miss him so much. One night I saw my dad packing up some stuff. I went to his room and asked, " where are you going dad?" He looked at me and replied," I am going to the hospital," at the time me and him weren't exactly getting along. We had been fighting for days because I was bullied in school and hit the kid bullying me. He deserved it but he didn't think... [Read More]

my life so far

I was born the third of three children and the only boy. My mother had my sister when she was 18. My mother started leaving at night and staying out until morning according to my father and so they divorced when I was about 2 but they kept trying at it even after that until I was around 5. After they ended it for good we lived at my dads parents home for a while until he had secured him his own home in which we could live in. We lived with our mom while my dad figured out his living situation. While there she married a man named Kenneth. He was stern and sometimes would abuse my mother and myself and my sisters. My oldest sister got into a fight with him one night and moved out to my dads house after Kenneth slapped her across the face. My... [Read More]

The only story I'll ever tell will be my own, the way I felt and never could tell..............(this is written right out of my brother journal, my brother always wanted to publish his life story) If only one second I could take back it could have changed my life and I would have changed it a million times over. the day when I realized its to late. I start this story at the age of 10, I didn't want to go to school like always but only for the soul purpose to not get into some sort of trouble with teachers and students alike. My mom couldn't handle me and my step dad only knew to beat me when nothing else he could do would help. My grandparents took me away and said not another day will I live with all my family again. Not realizing what I had just... [Read More]

A tragic story of two orphans

Georgina Martin-Gentleman

27 Dec, 2012 12:48 PM

The story begins with an 8 year old boy called Kevin who was part of a strict but loving family of four including, of course, Kevin. His parents whom he loved dearly were called Susan and Adam. They had - much to Kevin's dislike - a six year old daughter called Lilly. Lilly loved her brother and knew deep down Kevin loved her as well. Then on the 5th January 2005 the family decided to go out for a drive and watch the sunset, little did they know that this drive would turn into a blood bath of misery. The family were so happy singing away merrily to the radio, then suddenly another car swerved and crashed into them, then the car started to spin. The children thought it would never stop. Eventually it stopped. Kevin heard his sister crying and crawled his way over to her to see if... [Read More]

Trying

I'm hurt. I'm sad. I'm angry. I'm frustrated. I'm distressed. Unlike a lot of people, I have some friends that love and care about me and I have a somewhat amazing family. I guess the reason I feel like this is that its not enough for me. I have 2 TRUE friends that I know care about me and would be there for me if I really needed them. Is that enough? It could be. I have an amazing mom, who gives the most amazing hugs. Two brothers and a sister, who love me even if they don't show it. The reason that I am now 4 hours away from my favorite people is because of the stupid teenage drama, my stupid father and stupid liars. Drama is the friends who pretend to like you because you have a license. Drama is when people start fights over things that don't... [Read More]

Who Would Have Known

Brittany

12 Dec, 2012 01:08 AM

Who would have known that kids would have so many regrets when they grew up. Who would have known the pain you feel in your heart when its to late. Who would have known that you cared if though it didn't seem like it at times. Who would have known that you wouldn't live forever like I thought you would when I was a kid. Who would have known that my hero would get sick. Who would have known that I could talk to you when at times it felt like I couldn't. Who would have known that we would get so close. Who would have known that even though we are close I want more time to spend with you. Who would have known that I wanted you by my side every step of the way. Who would have known that you were proud of me. Who would have... [Read More]
