Black Skies, White Lies

I sit in the dark silence hoping for another
to mend what has been broken.
But it's only little me and I sit alone.

The darkness is compelling me into thoughts of
what seems to be a tragedy.
There is a crisp chill in the air,
though, it may feel bitter; it isn't.

I feel nothing, but as to you I'm heartless.
No more and no less.
Must you break and bend me?
I think you must.

It's your only way to escape.
My world is spinning in circles.
I'm enjoying the sickening feeling my stomach gives me.
It's as subtle as a shotgun.
It's as heavy as a brick.
This must mean I'm slowly perishing away.
Isn't this what you wanted?

I can hear my heart beat slower.
Everything is fading away.
There are no senses of anything now.
I see nothing but my own figure down below.
Because of you, I'm gone.
This is what you wished for, my darling.
I can't wait to see the reaction on your rancid face.
