The lies you tell

You tell me you love me,
but that's a lie.

You tell me I'm worth it,
but that's a lie.

You tell me I'm pretty,
but that's also a lie.

You tell me I'm beautiful,
that's a lie.

You tell me I'm the only girl you will ever love,
that's a lie.

You tell me we will be together forever,
that's a lie.

All the words that come out your mouth,
are lies.

You told me I'm acting strangely.
Am I?

You told me I look sick.
Do I?

You told me were getting distant.
Are we?

You told me I didn't care.
Don't I?

You told me you wanted to break up.
Why?

All the words that come out of your mouth,
hurt.

I saw him with another girl,
telling more lies.

He said she was gorgeous,
that's a lie.

He said he would die for her,
that's a lie.

He said she was his world,
that's a lie.

Everything that comes out of his mouth.

Is a lie.
