Imperfectio

We were the boundaries dissolving when the only thing you could do was fall,
We were the volcanoes erupting when all we could do was destroy our all.

We would only leave you the awe when I would say that I wasn't the love
the love to say you wanted us; but the love of the lust that lasted above.

You were to say to let us free when once you could say
The music you'd play - when the assumption you've made was something to claim.

We are the reality to say that you must only breathe
of the powers below or the weakness beneath.

To say that we and our ears are the only things left stranded
to live without melody to remind us that our tears won't correct this imbalance.

We were the light to your imperfections.
We were you.
