I'm in love with you (i know its true)
I look in your eyes, their bluish hue.
I really thought you loved me too.

Should i love?
should i trust?
someone who isn't fair or just?
You leave me now a lifeless husk.

Forever more the heart absconds
waiting in the shadows
a silent tear, upon one cheek
a never ending battle.
