The broken hearted ninja

On that day when we walked our separate ways,
How should I attempt to diminish the pain in me?
I empathize weakness which could not be prominent whenever I encounter it by chance
I had already given up on understanding everything.

Whenever I see your face, 
the oceans heaved up to my heart
Filled with overflowing emotions 
I told myself it's love, but knew nothing about it.

The rain kept falling, like tears from my eye
Now i'm trembling under the cold downpour 
Fooled by your sickening generosity 
But, I believed that it is alright since it's you 

Did you chose this season to leave me?
I have buried all my feelings deep down into the earth's core
Leaving me with a great big nothing
I felt like a soulless human being walking aimlessly in life. 

But, I'm going to take it back with my own bare hands
Like an archaeologist searching for long lost history 
Retrieving my pride and life back from the dead
A life where you did not exist

As day passes by, I will smile to the world
Hiding my past in a small box with a lock on it.
The key to my rusted heart,
I wonder when will I ever find it again.
