The scent of roses and women’s perfume filled the air. As I entered the restaurant, tears started forming in my eyes. I’m a man I can’t cry. Whatever, I don't care, there’s good enough of a reason for me to cry. The waitress welcomed me. I asked for a table for 2, and told the waitress that she was coming, she was on her way. The waitress nodded and looked at my eyes. “Sir, are you alright?” No. “Yeah, Yeah, I’m fine.” No. “Uh actually, miss, may I choose a table to sit at? It would mean very much to me.” It really would. “Uhh… okay. Which table would you like to sit at?” I led her to the table I sat on that very night. “But sir, I’m not sure… that’s a family table…” “Please, I’ll pay extra. It would mean so much if I could.” “Uhh… okay. Would... [Read More]

I met her in second grade. She was cute and funny and nice and everything that a best friend could be. By the way if you're wondering, no I'm not a guy writing about a girl, I'm and girl writing about her best friend. We were in the same class and our teachers put us together for a project. And that's pretty much how we met. I have so many good memories with her. She was amazing. we grew older, and soon started middle school. She was becoming beautiful, and sometimes I was so jealous. She always got all the guys, and was probably the most perfect, most luckiest girl. In 8th grade, something changed. We weren't hanging out as much, and we got into small little fights. I thought it was just whatever. Soon enough we started high school. She started doing things I thought she'd never do. In... [Read More]

Dee

Summer of 2004, I was 16 years old a sophomore in high school.. My friends called me and told me they would be going down to the beach for a bonfire and asked if i would like to join... Well i didn't have anything to do so i said sure lets go... Little did i know i would meet someone that day that would change my life for ever... His name was Andrew he was also a sophomore... Might as well state now that he was not my type, haha.. He was white/mexican, bald head, baggy clothes, and a weed smoker (Hey i was fun, but at that time i definitely had not experimented with any drugs), pretty much what people would call a "gangster" except he did not claim a set.. Andrew had shown up with some friends.. One of them was dating one of the friends i showed... [Read More]

I was a tender 21, she was a strong 26... I fell in love the moment i met her.. She had an amazing sense of humor, a carefree heart, and not to mention she was stunning.. I still remember the first time i met her 6 years ago in September... She picked me up and we went on a date to Target, little did i know that she would change my life for ever.. i remember feeling butterflies as the time to see her got nearer, She picked me up and i clearly remember her telling me I was so much more beautiful in person.. Oh yes i forgot to mention we met online.. We went to Target to buy her dogs food and treats, then she took me over to her house, I met her family, we played with her dogs and grabbed something to eat after.. I remember... [Read More]

All alone...

My name is Kendra Tinch, I have night terrors to the point where I am scared to sleep, I woke up by having one about my best friend...Charlie and I can't fall back to sleep so I wrote this about him. Why did god put his life in my hands...my weak, confused, and young hands. Ever since I was in Kindergarten I have always been a loner. I would never talk to anyone and I would always swing alone ever day. My teachers and family members were worried about me saying I was abnormal and needed to make friends. I was all alone, until third grade when I met my best friend Charlie Tuggle. He was my only friend we would swing together everyday. I had the biggest crush on him and I wanted to tell him but I was too scared so instead of saying anything I just kept... [Read More]

Business Affairs

It is one of the most difficult and complicated and wonderful mistakes of my life: having an affair with your "boss" at work. A married man of whom I work with and is in a position of authority. Why would I even make an effort with someone like that? A beautiful wife and two adorable children. Not to mention his wife is the niece of the owner of the establishment! Como Loca! But of course when I begin working anywhere I find that one person to become my victim of "entertainment" at work. I saw him a few days into working at my new job and immediately knew I wanted to talk to him. At the time I was unaware of his personal life when I asked for his number just in case I ever needed anything work related. But I later found out by my own mother that he... [Read More]

Words Unsaid

I didn't see her. I just heard the scream. I can't imagine anyone else would have recognised her scream, but I had been listening to her every day since we were five. I'd heard her scream before. Not often, but once or twice over the years. I was in the middle of an exam, near the end of the year in the eleventh grade when I heard that scream, and the last time I would ever hear her speak. I ran without thinking. I ran out of the classroom (completely ignoring my teacher as I passed) and down the stairs. The closest stairs were the ones that ran down the centre of the school. Had I been looking, I would have seen that the door to the roof was unlocked. Had I been looking, I would have immediately blamed myself. I found the combination to the door to the roof... Goodbye means I love you

Monstrous Angel

To be right doesn't mean to be happy... I didn't expect to meet you in unexpected time. When I saw you, you're smiling and it made my day. You were the perfect example of my ideal man. I want to be near you yet I am afraid. I want to be your friend yet I can't utter any word when you're near me. I was so shy then, I didn't know what to say. When it's time to say goodbye, I heard your laughter’s and its music to my ears. After a year, we met again. My feelings for you were still there. I guess it became deeper. I really liked you a lot. I liked how you talk, how you smile, and how you laugh. When you saw me, you hugged me and treated me as your close friend. Oh! I felt heaven. I wanted to hug you back... [Read More]

There once was a child named Hope, and she was in the 3rd grade. Hope always was a happy child...she was kind to others, loved life and got very good grades. One day she walked in on her mother on the edge of her bed crying, and asked her what had happened. Her mom looked at her and patted the place next to her. Hope sat down and looked up at her mother wide-eyed and whispered softly, "What happened, Mama?" Her mom gently held Hope's hand and mumbled, "It's Daddy..." her mother suddenly burst out crying and hugged Hope. "Daddy got in a car accident, Baby...he didn't make it..." Hope didn't say anything...when her mother let go, Hope had a single tear streaming down her face. After that, Hope never talked to anyone at school, her grades went downhill and so did her happiness...finally at the age of 16, her... [Read More]
