Dee

Summer of 2004, I was 16 years old a sophomore in high school.. My friends called me and told me they would be going down to the beach for a bonfire and asked if i would like to join... Well i didn't have anything to do so i said sure lets go... Little did i know i would meet someone that day that would change my life for ever... His name was Andrew he was also a sophomore... Might as well state now that he was not my type, haha.. He was white/mexican, bald head, baggy clothes, and a weed smoker (Hey i was fun, but at that time i definitely had not experimented with any drugs), pretty much what people would call a "gangster" except he did not claim a set.. Andrew had shown up with some friends.. One of them was dating one of the friends i showed... [Read More]

The story of a lifetime

susan

21 Feb, 2010 08:44 PM

I'm going to start over again. I'm going to make this story short. I don't remember the time when we first met, but I do know it was only a short time when he was with me. The sorrow we been through together and the time we shared together--they all seemed so short. When I think about it, it's already gone. My name is Susan and I woke up today as usual. I look to the side of my bed today and hoped he was there, but...he wasn't. Later I said to myself, "Oh...right....he's not here anymore." 5 years ago, he was still with me. He was the only person to have ever understood my feelings best and always sees through my lies. I thought we won't be able to last long, but we lasted for a looong looong time. Even now we are still together. From time to time I... [Read More]

My Feet Drag On…

It was January 5th, 2013 the day that changed my life. New Years was over and it was the first weekend after returning to school. I had been talking to this girl for a few months, and it was never flirtatious, just great friends. It was in school that we got the idea of watching Monsters Inc., or at least we were joking around about it cause it was such a great movie. (We both like animated films, she loves them though) But that Saturday I remember being on the bus and not having anything to do till 6:00 p.m. where I had to go house sit, and her name came across my phone. So I called her up and made the plans, we were going to go catch the afternoon show and it turned out to be one of the best days of my life. I remember walking past... [Read More]

I was never the popular one in school, mostly ignored or bullied by my peers. I spent my school days being bullied and listening to the "cool" girls talk about boys. I wasn't one to believe in love and happily ever afters, as I thought who would love me if no one even wanted to be my friend? I was an outcast, my friends were all boys. But as we grew up, the boys wouldn't hang out with me anymore. At home, I was a good girl, listening to everyone and playing fair. Until I met him. My first impression of him was of an adorable, nerdy fellow. He proved me quite wrong, he was a fighter, a trouble-maker. And I loved him for him. I loved his strong side that he showed everyone, I loved his sweet smile and adorable accent, I loved his serious side and I loved... [Read More]

It all started five years ago, when i first met him. I was in grade eight and he was in grade seven. It was the first day of school, we both lived close to each other and took the same school bus to get to school and to go back. It wasn't excatly love at first sight, in fact it was more like we where just on same bus or i know that person but we aren't really friends. Soon it all changed. I would see him everyday, not only because we took the same bus but in school too. We where just friends and at first i could never see myself liking. This friends thing went on for about a year. We later became best friends. At the end of my grade nine, excatly the last day, i came out on the bus with my eyes full of tears.... [Read More]

They first met at his friends party. He had originally planned not to attend but thankfully he did. That day would change him forever... When he first saw her it was love at first sight. She was breath takingly beautiful in every aspect. He had developed a crush within an instant. At the party they did multiple things as a group such as sit around talking, go to the movies and even went to a restaurant. Not once however, had he given his attention to any other person the entire night. He enjoyed her company, they would laugh together and to his surprise she asked for his number. He gave it and they started texting eachother the next day. Two days later, while it seemed as though he were in a rush he had asked her out and she had said yes! At first their relationship was slightly awkward at... [Read More]

last moment with my DAD ;(

On June 18, 2005, my life changed drastically, not for the better or worse but changed. As I go on to tell you my story you’re going to wonder how I can’t say for the worse, but I hope by the end you will understand. The day started out like any other day, got ready to go to work, and then had to stop by my dad’s girlfriend’s house to copy some things for my pre-school class. The phone then began to ring but I didn't answer it, the answering machine then answered the call and the message began. Little did I know that this message would be the beginning of a change in my life. As I stood making copies, my dad’s voice spoke on the answering machine stating that he was having a stroke and needed help. I then answered told my dad I was on my way... [Read More]

his name is jacob. and he is love. i can't see anyone else besides him. 7 months of holding a secret relationship behind everyone's back. he made me feel. after my uncle and best friend committed suicide, i was numb. and when he came into my life, it was like i was reborn again. i was literally a different person, all my friends said so. he broke off what we had on march 25. i gave him everything that i could. and i mean everything; he held my innocents in his palms.. but he has crushed them. i'm not saying that HE is THE REASON i am so utterly, pathetically, insanely depressed.. he's just the main cause. so much hope was stored in what we had, and he was my everything. he still is my everything. now, he won't even look at me. going from crazy hot make out sessions,... Aly's Song

This story isn't solely about love. The following story is not about loss. It's not a tragedy or a romance. Rather, it's all of the above. I had done something terrible one day that had forced me to move out of my home. I moved in with my grandparents who had agreed to take me in. I didn't know the neighborhood, the school district, or anyone within twenty miles of me. I had never felt more alone in my life. I started going to Grissom Middle School that August. My reputation as a fighter and a hothead had followed me up from my old school. My peers tantalized and antagonized me to the point where I would've given my legs to have a fully loaded gun. One day, while I was home, I decided to go for a walk. All of the hostility I faced at school didn't exist in... [Read More]

Dear Dad <3

Gabbie

13 Oct, 2011 07:24 PM

Dear Dad, I still remember that dark night. Your sister or my aunt was here to visit you. She came with your crippled step mom and her husband who loved you as a brother so much. They were laughing about stories until there was a screech of police cars outside. The Vibrant colors of red and blue filled the house through the windows. I was only about to be seven so my mom told me to hide in the room. I was really nosy i know, so i pressed my ear to the door. My hair got in my eyes but i had a feeling of what i was going to hear was going to be really important so i ignored it. I heard my mom footsteps go down the main hall and the click of the door opening. She screamed. I stood up but i thought of her getting... [Read More]
