This is well... a story of myself i usually do myself as a dragon cause thats how i escape... i mix my fantasy into my real life... but this time... im not going to... Most of this started back when i was admitted at the hospital, recently diagnosed with extreme depression and severe social anxiety. May 20, 2016 i was brought into emergency for self harm. After a few hours of waiting the doctor took us to the psych ward... or "psych emerg" security guards nearby as well, they were friendly yes very friendly. Another few hours pass and its clear im going to be staying here so im all excited thinking that its all going to be a joy ride. I have my phone so what could go wrong, the only one who kept me sane in that small room was my boyfriend we dont live in the same... [Read More]

For you Josh

Rachel McConnell

During my first year of high school I had befriended a young, beautiful girl named Alexis. She was one of those friends that I just immediately clicked with. She had short black hair that was constantly straight, always brushing her chin when she turned her head. Her eyes were the most brilliant shade of blue with what seemed to be purple hidden in her light irises, and her skin was a soft white ivory. Over all her appearance made all the boys at our school swoon for her. She was an honor student, always maintaining a 4.0 and she had the most amazing personality. She had the ability to always appear happy and confident, and always willing to help anyone who needed it. But notice I said appear happy, really she was hiding a dark secret. My sweet, beautiful friend had been suffering from manic depression most of her life... [Read More]

Why I could not cry

Pierce Bonds

10 Jul, 2013 03:38 AM

The night was cold. It had just stopped raining and the streets glimmered as the moonlight and stars reflected on them. I was standing on the curb of the sidewalk under a streetlight. I had my white umbrella balanced under my palm. I check my watch. It was growing late but I didn't want to go home. I don't know why I had stopped there; on that very spot. So, I headed home. I entered the house and the strong tension hit me like a wave. I could hear my mother and my stepfather fighting in the kitchen. It wasn't their first fight. My little brother was sitting in the living room, staring at the TV with a dark screen. I asked him what was going on but he never responded. I sat next to him and he immediately wrapped him arms around me. Everything happened so fast. Mother made... [Read More]

Love Story

Ambrosia

Isn't it funny how people think they know you? They think they know every single thing about you and your feelings. How it will effect you, how you'll feel after they say it to you. They don't realize what they're doing to you. It's almost funny, but not quite. Everybody says how girls are vicious and mean, and it's true. I once read in a book that women have their trays of sharp pointy tools, like at the dentist office. But I have a better analogy. It's like getting stabbed in the heart with a knife. Only it doesn't hit the heart right away. It gets deeper every day by milimeters. The blood that pours out are the tears that are emptied into the pillow late at night when no one's listening. The deeper it goes, the more you start to think about killing yourself. Once it reaches the heart,... [Read More]

Abandoned

Megan

09 Aug, 2012 05:25 AM

My story starts online in March. No it is not the smartest way to meet someone but I didn't mean for it to happen. I met him and from the start we were both hooked. He lived across the country from me. But he moved to the state I was in. I only saw him once in the four months that he was there due to the fact that his multiple jobs were so demanding. The beginning of July he moved back because his cancer was back and his doctors were back home. I started to plan to move to be with him because of how in love we were and we were planning to spend our lives together. Well we decided that I should fly over for a week and look at apartments, jobs, etc. I left in the middle of July on a Saturday. I got there Saturday... [Read More]

He Called Me His

DarlaCal

02 Jun, 2010 09:53 AM

I was his and he was mine. In my mind, we were the perfect couple and i thought he felt the same way. He told me the sweetest things. He said I was the best thing that ever happened to him, he couldn't imagine life without me. He told me he doesn't know what he did to deserve someone like me. Life was great. We were inseparable...or so i thought. Months passed, and we grew more and more apart. He became distant, started flirting with other girls. Worst of all he started flirting with my best friend and to my misdemeanor she flirted right back. I read the texts, i saw them together. I saw how they looked at each other as if they had some dirty little secret. It broke my heart, tore me to shreds, and left me remains to decompose. In my mind, I believed I couldn't... [Read More]

Do YOU Know The Truth?

ASadStory

26 May, 2015 06:09 PM

I have a story. But I don't want to write it as it opens a closed chapter of my life. it lasted for a very long time and is still on going. Therefore i have decided to write a true story about many people that has been bullied. I want people to understand what we/you have been through. A shrink does not know how we feel. A mental hospital does not know how we feel. Medication does not know how we feel. they say "It takes one to know one" that is what I believe is the mental hospital, the skrink, the medication we stuff down every day. I want the world to know how it is. I want them to actually cry over something they don't understand. I want them to cry over someone they don't know. I want them to cry because we are strong. Because we lived... [Read More]

Surviving Love...

Sarah

30 Jan, 2013 04:34 AM

I was running through the dark streets, barely seeing where I was going. The cold air was practically choking me while I breathed. I knew that I might not be on time but I also knew that if I didn’t try and get there, that I would be haunted of the memory forever. The man I loved needed me. I had received a call that he was going into cardiac arrest and this might be the last day his heart beats. At first I thought they were joking—but when they put Damen on the phone I knew that they were right. I barely recognized his voice, as if he had drunk too much Cough Syrup. I was about to ask him if he was okay when suddenly he screamed dropping the phone. No one bothered to pick it up, so I could hear their voices in the background, shouting orders.... [Read More]
