Depression is nourished by a lifetime of ungrieved and unforgiven hurts. 

lot of what passes for depression these days is nothing more than a body saying that it needs work. 

It's getting colder now and the darkness consumes me. Depression is slowly creeping up. Maybe one day you'll actually care about me. 

I think I'd do better on my own, no friends, no fights,just me alone 

"Here's my heart and soul, please grind them into hamburger, and enjoy."

That terrible mood of depression of whether it's any good or not is what is known as The Artist's Reward.

Concern should drive us into action, not depression. 

The thing is I'm not worth the sorrow And if you come and Meet me tomorrow I will hold you down Fold you in Deep, deep, deep In the fiction we live. 

I'm digging my way to something better. i'm sowing the seeds I take for granted. This thorn in my side is from the tree I planted. And it tears me and I bleed 

You cannot be a good writer of serious fiction if you are not depressed
