Long Forgotten

Gaze into my eyes,
a story long forgotten lies within.
tear drops fall upon my face, 
obliterating the memory of 
love,
hope,
and so called fate.

my eyes lay awake,
during the gloomy, cold night
when my mind drifts away,
i can not hide.
hide from  the memories that linger on.

please heart,
hear me out,
erase my pain,
just tell me when i can breath again,
tell me when i can live again.
