Along The Streets of Loneliness

I walk alone among the street lights
Listening to the songs that seems to exist
With the light breeze that brought me to heights
This lonely ambiance I can’t resist

The soft whispers of thoughts I have
Along the roads of the night I take
Where I build my own world of love
The very foolish deed, my mistake

Passing by the trees of shade
And flowers on my side
Where my stories are made
From tears, from madness I hide

This place is always crowded
Not by people but by memories
Where fears, longings, and dreams collided
Here they are in the avenue of my stories

Droplets of rain on my cheeks are falling
And floods my heart ‘till I can’t anymore see
For now I’ll leave this place of mourning
But this road will always be a part of me.

Great work. I especially like the last line of this poem.
