Sauntering through this masquerade,
Hidden behind a perfected fade,
Living off the biased perspective,
Of how this mannequin should live

The first impression is a reflection
Of self-imposed perfection
A second glance may reveal
A mist behind the veil

The embittered soul
A heart as black as coal
Living in a world of illusion
Under a mistaken impression

That no one would care,
Love, understand, or share
Words with the person
She who hates from within
