My mothers young love.

Crystal

03 Sep, 2012 06:41 AM

Hey everyone! I decided to share this story because I believe it may help some people that are unhappy with their family. So this is a story my mother told me when I was so upset over a guy that was a total jerk. It is a sad story but it made me thankful for what I had in life, and no matter what happens my mother is always going to be here for me, I'm so thankful to have a mother when others aren't so lucky. When my mother was my age, 15 she was dating this guy named Dale. She said how they were inseparable and still has a necklace that he got her for her birthday. One day Dale was going to go for a ride on his Dirt Bike and asked if my mom wanted to go with. She asked her grandmother if she could go... [Read More]

This is my true story. Story of a sweet, caring, ambitious hindu indian girl and a passionate, violent, introvert muslim indian boy. PLEASE DO COMMENT. 7th grade: I am new in school. I quickly make friends, lots n lots of them. Loved by seniors, juniors, classmates and teachers. Basically, it dint take a cheerful, vibrant, honest n stupid girl (me) long to become popular. 8th grade: I am class monitor. Involved in numerous co-curricular activities. We become friends. We implies for me, corey and drew. (No, its not a triangular love story) 9th grade: I get to know more and more about corey. I think I have a crush on him. But we don?t talk much cause he is an introvert orthodox. He is everything anyone can ask for. Thin, toned, dark, humorous, intelligent (topper to be appropriate), serious, observant, a quizman, trustworthy, and most importantly, mature. No, he isnt boring.... [Read More]

Why have I always been alone?

S...

16 Nov, 2012 10:55 PM

I haven't. In fact, I was never meant to be alone, but that changed when I was too young to remember. I lost my twin when I was about one year old. But I didn't know it. So this is how I was until a year or so ago: I developed a huge fear of losing a loved one, even though I wasn't aware of having ever lost anyone. that caused my OCD. So with those recurring anxieties, I was stressed, tired and afraid and always alone, even when I was with others. I was making it by, like other OCD sufferers, when I learned that I had lost my twin sister at a very early age. I overheard it, and after some dis belief, and digging around through my parents things, I found a few photos. I was forced to face my dead sister. That day I became an... [Read More]

To start from the beginning is a understatement. My sad story starts from a young age and continues with me until now. My family always wanted the best for me, so you could say, their rules and restrictions were for my own benefit. I grew up in a religious family and was taught that education was my primary focus in life, So I attended a religious all girls school. I was taught that there were no such things as 'guy' friends, and they only wanted one thing, etc. I was shielded. I had two elder brothers that monitored my every move, even as they attended the all boys school neighboring mine. My short time in the girls school was a breeze, I was focused and determined, but that would all change eventually. Senior school was upon me now, but their was a change, my school would now be integrated as... [Read More]

I Cant Walk Away

Scarlett

04 Apr, 2012 09:04 PM

"Just walk away!!," the words darted right out of his mouth. "Its not that hard, just walk away from me!" I knew it wasn't hard, walking away, that's the easy part. It wasn't walking away I was scared of, its the fact of knowing if I walked away you wouldn't come after me and that's what hurt the most. Tears started flowing down my face, just hold me right now, I cant take this. I never thought I would lose the one that meant everything to me, the one I gave my heart to, the one I shared everything with. After everything we had to go through you're gonna tell me to walk away and forget. You were never a part of me life. It's hard to forget someone who gave you so much to remember. My whole life changed because of you, we had it all and you ruined... [Read More]

Another Story to Read

Miss C.

05 Jan, 2013 06:34 AM

It has been a while since I last thought of the first love I've ever had. But here I go again, regressing to a period in my life that I should just get over and accept! For some reason though, I can't. Not fully anyway. My thoughts wander back to him, just as a child wanders away from its parents and into a candy store. However, I want to tell my story. So here it goes! My first love (for reference sake let's call him MAN.I know, I have no creativity.) caught my eye sophomore year in high school. He was immensely tall- 6foot 1'- had lovely hazel eyes, and cute shaggy brown hair. Little did he know that I planned to win his affection and become his girlfriend. It was my hero's quest, and I was determined to fulfill my destiny! I had never wanted a boyfriend before. I... [Read More]

*Starcatcher* <3

05 Mar, 2012 08:44 PM

Let me just start off saying I still love him and he is all I had and everything to look forward to. Now that he's gone I have NOTHING!!!! Me and this guy Michael were dating for 4 months and we were in mad love with each other. Only problem is he is 18 and I'm 15 (about to turn 16). One day while I was at school the cops showed up at his house asking him if he was dating a kelia golden (which is me) and if he was he was going to be arrested and sent to jail over stagetory rape. So he said "No sir, I know OF her but I don't know her and I'm am NOT dating her". Which yeah it hurts but I can totally understand. At the time I didn't have a phone so when he needed to tell me something important... [Read More]

Only Been Weeks

Arcana

10 Dec, 2012 05:25 AM

It's only been weeks since I last saw him, but it feels like years. I can still remember his smile, like I saw it yesterday, but its only been weeks His name was James. Tall, athletic, class clown, and my heart throb. I spent sixth and seventh grade just staring at him, looking at him, and even stalking him on Facebook. Yeah, I admit it. Then high school came. I became taller, prettier, and louder. Finally, just finally, James started to notice me. It feels like it's only been weeks since he asked me out. We went to the beach, and dinner, it was pretty cool. No awkward moments or anything. Soon, we were joined at the hip. James and Arcana, James and Arcana, it was the perfect match. He was my best friend. No, more than that.We were the popular couple. Gossip went around about us, whispers about what we... [Read More]

In the Waiting Process

Alaska

30 Nov, 2012 10:52 AM

I was six years old when my beautiful baby brother was born. I wasn't an only child anymore and I was ecstatic! My mom was diagnosed with lung and ovarian cancer when he was only six months old. I never understood how dangerous that was back then. My mom would basically live at the hospital. I missed her but my grandma said it would make her better so I never complained. My dad was working two jobs trying to keep up with the hospital bills. When he wasn't working, he was at the hospital with my mom. I rarely ever saw either of them. My grandma would watch over my brother and I. She was old and couldn't do everything that a normal babysitter would. I took on the role. I basically raised my brother alone at the age of six. I changed diapers, put him to sleep, and soothed... [Read More]

Words Unsaid

dracodormiens

I didn't see her. I just heard the scream. I can't imagine anyone else would have recognised her scream, but I had been listening to her every day since we were five. I'd heard her scream before. Not often, but once or twice over the years. I was in the middle of an exam, near the end of the year in the eleventh grade when I heard that scream, and the last time I would ever hear her speak. I ran without thinking. I ran out of the classroom (completely ignoring my teacher as I passed) and down the stairs. The closest stairs were the ones that ran down the centre of the school. Had I been looking, I would have seen that the door to the roof was unlocked. Had I been looking, I would have immediately blamed myself. I found the combination to the door to the roof...
