There was once a girl who was always bright and happy. She loved the people around her. In 3rd grade, she fell in love with a boy that also loved her. Eventually, everyone in the school knew. His friends and her friends always tried to bring them together, but the two refused. Towards the end of the year, the boy told the girl,"Let's just be friends." The girl smiled, not knowing what he meant. The boy moved at the end of the school year and the never talked again. When she was in 5th grade, she realized that she would never meet that boy again. I was six years old when my beautiful baby brother was born. I wasn't an only child anymore and I was ecstatic! My mom was diagnosed with lung and ovarian cancer when he was only six months old. I never understood how dangerous that was back then. My mom would basically live at the hospital. I missed her but my grandma said it would make her better so I never complained. My dad was working two jobs trying to keep up with the hospital bills. When he wasn't working, he was at the hospital with my mom. I rarely ever saw either of them.
