To He Whom Wishes To Know (Part 1)

Theodore B. Dove (D.T)

28 Sep, 2016 11:38 PM

To he whom wishes to know, Unless you yourself are a stout dis-believer, or a religious person of high standing and pure heart, it is ill advised you should continue reading this poorly scrawled narrative of the events that incessantly haunt my nights and days. Turn instead to another tale of another person, and allow your soul to remain unperturbed by those archaic spirits awakened by my meddling; an act of foolishness for which there is no remedy. Do not think the fact my heart still proceeds with its methodical pumping that my horror is none the less, nor that my shaky breaths show any true sign of life - for how can one live after being faced with heinous secrets not meant for mere mortals, instead belonging to something mightier and older then any god. Even now, as I write this final letter, I hear their voices whispering behind... [Read More]

Nothing...

drip, drop, drip, drop. I watch as the rain falls outside my window, growing slightly bored. The TV is on in the background, MTV is on. I look around my room, thinking, day dreaming, pointing out how messy it is, and how i should get up and do it. But I don't feel up to it, just like I don't feel up to doing anything. Hi I'm Charlie, a 15 year old girl, waiting for her life to get better, cause as everyone says, it gets worse only to get better, but so far it hasn't happened. I deal with depression, social anxiety, and Like many people, I think way too much. My phone dings, notifying me of a new message, and no it's not from a friend, i don't have anymore of those. But it's from my mother. Mom-Hey hun, not gonna be home tonight, your brother has a... [Read More]

Love You Forever

Theresa Path

13 Aug, 2016 06:05 AM

I moved to a small town in Southern Ontario when I was 9 years old. I was nervous when I started the 4th grade. I hated change, because I've always been such a shy person. My parents were hard on me and my siblings and I found that there tough love method of parenting made me lack a lot of self-confidence. On the first day of school no one talked to me. I sat alone during lunch and played by myself behind the trees during recess. I've never felt so lonely before in my life. Unfortunately, the lonliness continued. I never made any friends and I could see that no one was interested in getting to know me as well. During my childhood I suffered from ulcers because I was always so stressed. The life at home kept me stress because Mom and Dad were constantly fighting. School was stressful... [Read More]

They first met at his friends party. He had originally planned not to attend but thankfully he did. That day would change him forever... When he first saw her it was love at first sight. She was breath takingly beautiful in every aspect. He had developed a crush within an instant. At the party they did multiple things as a group such as sit around talking, go to the movies and even went to a restaurant. Not once however, had he given his attention to any other person the entire night. He enjoyed her company, they would laugh together and to his surprise she asked for his number. He gave it and they started texting eachother the next day. Two days later, while it seemed as though he were in a rush he had asked her out and she had said yes! At first their relationship was slightly awkward at... [Read More]

Lesson learnt

Lifeexperience

03 Aug, 2016 11:00 AM

A lesson learnt- It was a very nice afternoon. We all were on a picnic and enjoying. Suddenly a couple joined us with their 2 year old son and a newly born girl. I was stunned. It was love at first sight. The lady, Neha, was mesmerizing. I fell in love with her that moment. I still remember even after 5 years that she had a red top. It was not that she was beautiful. In fact she was not even close to be beautiful. But there was something about her which just made me be in the moment and loose the moment at the same time. Few days went by. Though I could not take her off my mind, I thought it just will pass off. Turned out to be not so. A common friend invited both of our families at party. That couldn't be a coincidence! They became... [Read More]

Normally I'd consider these sites as a depressing, useless waste of time that permit people to feel even more pain, but the message behind my story: it needs to be heard/read/ whatever. So here's my sad story, You know in middle school when you'd have that devastating crush on an older guy who'd just pass by you like you were nothing but another poster on the wall? Lol well, same. He was a year older, a new student, tall, very attractive, cute, with curly brown hair. During my eighth year in school, it was all still cute; just a cute little girly crush, until I reached my first year of high school. I thought moving to the building which was right across school campus where all the older people were would be the best thing ever. Right before Christmas on my first year as a high schooler I received a... [Read More]

Just another sad story

Ally Mcciben

08 Jul, 2016 06:27 AM

Daily life of a mistreated teen, is not really acceptable. Love? Friends? Life? Should I live another day? So many questions to this puzzle in my head. I would tell only the truth and nothing but the truth. My name is Christine Mayor. I am emotionally scarred. Day in the life I've always been told that school is amazing, wonderful, and "dah dah dah dah". But it's not, it’s a straight copy of hell. One reason is because everyone is very quick to judge, and they never stop judging. Girls always gossip, boys lie to get what the want. You can't trust anyone with anything what so ever. But before I changed, and everything happened, lets start from the beginning. We had to chose our connections, some type of fun thing to do other than school work. Orchestra was one of my top picks...but sadly we start them in a... [Read More]

Corvus In Absencia

It all began one late afternoon in class. I was only in my second year of high school but I'd like to believe I held a somewhat different mind to those who I had the unfortunate luck of being stuck with for the next few years. I'd begun a small debate around my small circle of friends over matters that truly had no validity but watching a person argue something with no basis was very amusing. We moved around the room as our small debate raged on and on (Our work had been handed in for the day, we only awaited the sound of the bell to take our leave) until finally, we sat near a soon to be graduate of the school. She looked at us with fascination but she also partially ignored us, she preferred her music to any dull argument we could possibly ever conceive. However, the... [Read More]
