Everyday, I come home to a messy house because she never cleans it, like a normal mom would. Every night, I fall asleep hungry and crying because she's fighting with a man she doesn't love. I am a daughter of an alcoholic. If you ever think that you are in pain alone, you're not, because everyone has something bad happening in their lifetime, this is mine. It seems like I am never going to escape the sadness. She never talks to me about anything, she just cries and I hold her because I would never want her to feel unloved. I love my mom more than life itself and nobody can change that but it hurts. It hurts so bad to see the woman who is supposed to be my role model go down in such a violent way.
