True But Sad Love

Ajern99

It had been raining for more than a week, so much rain it made everyday seemed so restless and gloomy. She called and said she was coming up. It was the third time she came up to see me that week. I carried her excuse of why she came all the way here and went to meet her at the nearby seven-eleven. She was standing there alone, carrying her red umbrella. Her friend had dropped her off. It was raining and she was shivering. She looked weak and fragile in the harsh rain, wearing not enough to keep her warm. She said, "I miss you." I told her coldly, "Lets go, I'll take you home." She did not open up her umbrella, I knew she wanted to share mine. I said, "Open up your umbrella, let's go." Unwillingly, She opened up her umbrella and walked with me to the car.... [Read More]

The Missing Rib

Falak

10 Jan, 2013 11:28 AM

A girl in love asked her boyfriend. Girl: Tell me. Who do you love most in this world? Boy: You, of course! Girl: In your heart, what am I to you? The boy thought for a moment and looked intently in her eyes and said, "You are my rib. Every man has been searching for his missing rib, only when you find the woman of your life, you'll no longer feel the lingering ache in your heart." After their wedding, the couple had a sweet and happy life for a while. However, the youthful couple began to drift apart due to the busy schedule of life and the never-ending worries of daily problems, their life became mundane. All the challenges posed by the harsh realities of life began to gnaw away their dreams and love for each other. The couple began to have more quarrels and each quarrel became more... [Read More]

A tragic story of two orphans

Georgina Martin-Gentleman

27 Dec, 2012 12:48 PM

The story begins with an 8 year old boy called Kevin who was part of a strict but loving family of four including, of course, Kevin. His parents whom he loved dearly were called Susan and Adam. They had - much to Kevin's dislike - a six year old daughter called Lilly. Lilly loved her brother and knew deep down Kevin loved her as well. Then on the 5th January 2005 the family decided to go out for a drive and watch the sunset, little did they know that this drive would turn into a blood bath of misery. The family were so happy singing away merrily to the radio, then suddenly another car swerved and crashed into them, then the car started to spin. The children thought it would never stop. Eventually it stopped. Kevin heard his sister crying and crawled his way over to her to see if... [Read More]

My soulmate

Vanillabean

01 Dec, 2012 01:54 PM

I know you remember that cloudy day, on the muddy rivers edge, tangling and twisting our fingers around each others as we laughed, hugging as we rehearsed our true love vows to one another, and after we thought we had memorized them, we kissed and we pledged our promise to each other... ...one voice ...one heart ...one soul ...one life ...forever... slipping the broken halves of our Dime Store bought heart rings onto each others finger. We kissed and as we put our rings together and made one heart, I felt your sweet lips moving along mine, and in slow motion lip-braille, your lips kissed...*I love you* I look at the small tarnished ring I have kept all these years, reglueing the half heart back on, and even if it not fit, I still try to put it on.... trying so hard, pushing the ring as far as it can... Abused Memories

Lilith

When I was 3 years old my mom and dad divorced over letters. He was in Iraq in the army, so I barely knew him. A year later my mom gets a new boyfriend, yay for her bad for me. He hated me so much I still don't know why, but anyway he abused me. I'm not talking about once a week slap across the face. I'm talking throwing hammers at you while you hide, kicking you over and over, and nailing your fingers to a wall. My mom never knew this, my dad came back when I was 5 and I had weekly visits on the weekends. When I would get into trouble at his house he would yell a little and tell me not to do it again, I flinched the second he yelled...I was skittish like a stray cat. He went to court and my mother was... [Read More]

Sister Separation

Kristin

28 Jun, 2012 09:54 PM

In about 2009, just a few days before school got out for the summer, a tragic death happened to a 12 year old girl. There were two twin sisters, (I don't know their names.) They were super close, or maybe even best friends. School had just ended for the day. One of the sisters were on the bus, but the other was still getting stuff out of her locker, then she was finished and got up and ran to try and catch up. But the bus was already gone. So she called her sister, No answer. So she tried calling her parents to pick her up. They were at work in Chicago, so couldn't. So she chased after the bus, but as she was running she tripped. She couldn't move her leg, and the bus was coming and ran her over. She was quickly rushed to the hospital, but at... [Read More]

The Life I Won't Get Back.

Catiana

I used to be the type of girl who wasn't popular but wasn't unpopular... Just average. I'd sit with classmates at lunch but wouldn't talk much. I guess I was socially awkward in a way. I had a few friends I would watch movies with and go out. Sometimes I could actually be myself around them. But one by one, they all had other friends and I was left alone. When I walked down the halls I would have my head downcast and ignore my surroundings. That was just middle school. Few weeks later my parents dropped a bomb. I'm moving out of Chicago Out To Orlando, Florida! I've heard stories of that place. Oh, I was terrified. After sometime, I decided I would change my perspective. I dyed my hair from a lame blonde to a midnight black with multi-colored streaked in it. I got rid of my glasses... [Read More]

Well i don't really know where to start off this is by far the worst thing that has ever happened in my life... it started in 7th grade when I saw this beautiful girl in my class her name was Maddie and as soon as i saw her i knew she was the one and that I would marry her.. I didn't had the gut to talk to her until the summer before my freshman year we started dating for about 2 months until her friends screwed it up. I was devastated and ever since then I had been looking for a girl just to fill the void she left but no girl was ever the same just not her.. Went through all of freshman year with just being best-friend with her which was okay but I wanted a relationship but she just thought we were best=friends she didn't think... [Read More]
