Crying Alone in Darkness

Jessica. Catafura

14 Mar, 2016 01:01 PM

Before, you begin to read; I would like to tell you that this is based on a true story and that you should read it all the way through. I had a childhood friend. His name was 'Ben. Pittwater'. He was my friend, my neighbour, my child hood friend, my lover and soul mate. And I like to think that Ben loved me as much as I loved him. Thinking back, the first time I saw Ben was when I was 9 years old. Even though he had a luxurious living style, he was the only child and his parents were usually at work and returned at around 1PM. I sometimes saw him and after that, I let out the courage to say “Hi” to the member of the famous, rich Pittwater family. I still remember the moment he looked up after scratching the dirt then smiling at me with... [Read More]

Cloudy Eyes

SnowDreams97

25 Jun, 2013 09:12 PM

Eyes always clouded with sadness filled with tears, eyebrows so defined so dark so high, eyes so dark so beautiful so mysterious, nose so small so soft, lips so red so tender decorated with a smile as bright as crystals, cheeks so red as an apple, skin as white as pearls, as soft as a delicate petal, hands as small and tender as the ticklish wind, hair so long so dark so thick so shiny and wavy as a running free river, legs so tall and slender, body so fragile so beautiful so sweet. I stumbled upon a Goddess of the Greeks, I never knew they exist, never knew they're here, I have not seen such pair of thick lashes decorating those haunting dark pair of eyes, she had the saddest eyes, her eyes were like a cloud ready to rain, she had the saddest look the saddest voice and... Little Brother

Ai Shinamori

31 Dec, 2014 02:16 AM

My dearest little brother. How I loved you so. Those times we spent together causing mischief, playing games, laughing...I cherish them. Why did it have to happen? That one fateful day. We had a fight. Even now, I can still remember it. I had become very busy and couldn't hang out with you like I used to. I was worried about school work too much to pay any attention to you. Mom had just gotten a new job so we were home alone most of the time. I remember sometimes looking out my window to get a view of the front lawn, and there you'd be. Sitting alone in the grass. Waiting for mom and dad to come home from work. It made me sad, seeing you alone all the time. But I had work to do, so I didn't do anything about it. That day, I had just gotten home... [Read More]

Fake Smile and a Heartbeat

Gwen

20 Jul, 2016 11:26 AM

So, it's currently 1.13PM and I'm on my bed, typing this story because I have no one to talk to. I'm Gwen, people call me that and I think that's a beautiful name. I have issues with my family for I know that I am a failure in front of their eyes. Earlier I had a misunderstanding with my dad, just because he saw me and judged that I'm not being productive at the moment but he's wrong, I'm always productive but they just wont see it. My mom, my mom who always scold me for being a stupid daughter which is (I think) true. I'm stupid for being a daughter who actually have a lot of things going on inside her head. I haven't told them I'm bisexual because I wouldn't know if they would appreciate my own sexuality. I'm just seriously too depressed, I have no one to... [Read More]

Losing my best friend to love

Shae Fitzpatrick

12 May, 2018 03:40 AM

This story is 100% true, please read to the end to understand. I remember it like it was yesterday. I met the only person i would ever consider a true friend. We are both in the cadets at the same squadron and at the beginning of the training year, we had an FTX. FTX is like a squadron wide survival activity. The squadron made a mistake and placed me in the wrong flight. A flight is a group of cadets, usually about 20 or so. Anyways, we divided into our flights to go build our camp for the night. As a senior cadet I was too busy managing all the younger cadets to notice her at first. But as things started to calm down, and bedtime was approaching, I noticed her. The most beautiful girl in the entire squadron. Me being my normal awkward self was all awkward talking to... [Read More]

Story of Loneliness

I think the closest I ever came to loving a girl was a young girl, whose nickname was ‘kirby.’ She was 18, at the time, and so was I. She lived in the Philippines, and I, in Massachusetts. She had plans to come study at Harvard the following year, because she had been accepted with a promising scholarship. That means she would have been a 40 minute drive from my house, rather than across the world! How exciting! I had met her through an online internet forum. Now, Kirby, was perfect for me. She was nurturing, small, and ever-so-loving. When I would talk about how much I hated myself, or how worthless I was, she would give me a list of reasons why I’m not. She would sing me to sleep, and be there for me when I woke up. She knew how to turn me on like no girl... [Read More]

Lacey's Story

Kevin

30 Apr, 2013 04:10 AM

This story is not a story of hope, it is not a story of love, and it is not a story of triumph. This is a story explaining how horrible life can truly be and how some people are not lucky enough to receive a happy ending. It shows how cruel life is and even though you have done nothing wrong to anyone that your life can end in horror and death. This is a story about a 23 year old girl named Lacey and her 6 year old little boy. Lacey is a beautiful young lady with the most amazing red hair you would ever see in your entire life. She made one big mistake in her life when she was 17 at a party; she was drinking that is when one thing led to another and she ended up in the back room with a random guy. When... [Read More]

THE PERFECT GIRL

Monstrous Angel

16 Aug, 2014 03:38 PM

They hate her. They hate her guts. They hate how she carries herself. They hate how easily for her to get what she wants. She can be anyone. She can easily transform her emotions. She can be too friendly and too mean in a minute. They say she’s so hard to understand. She’s not kind yet a lot of people like her. She’s not that pretty yet a lot of boys admire her. She’s not rich yet she doesn't know anything about household chores. She doesn't have much money yet she keeps eating on the expensive restaurants. She’s not a celebrity yet she’s famous. She’s not a politician, yet she knows most of them. She’s “so girl” yet she can control the PUNKS. She’s strict and perfectionist. She loves her friends. She loves her family. She’s intimidating. She says what she wants and what’s on her mind regardless of how... [Read More]

where is dad...

mia

14 Nov, 2014 08:07 AM

A young girl grew up without a father. She smiled happily every day, but inside she was dying. Everywhere she looked, there was a happy, full family. A baby, mom, and dad. It was complete. They were happy. But not in her world. There was only her and her mom. At school, they would have father-daughter dances. The girl would always stay home. Her mom always told her that she was her "mom and dad." Eventually, she got curious. She wanted to know who her dad was. She walked up to her mom in her room and shifted nervously. "Mom?" The little girl asked. Of course the mother looked up. "Yes baby?" "Where's my dad?" The mother's eyes widened, before they started to tear up. The little girl was eight by this time. It scarred her. That night, when the girl laid in her mom's bed, and tried her best... [Read More]

The Suicide Note

CrystalWolfTear

10 Sep, 2014 08:11 PM

22nd September 2014, I am not holding anyone responsible for what I have done, nor am I blaming anyone who may happen to be reading this. Furthermore, I want to avoid any feeling of guilt or upset. There was no way you could have saved me, nor was there a way you could have possibly known; My mind has been set and I was determined to achieve this end result. I disguised my plans quite well, I just needed to find the right time and the right way, and now that you are reading this, it seems that I have found it. I don't want anyone to feel that I did this because I was weak and tired, no I just felt out of place, like a burden, or more like a failure; constantly feeling hopeless and more often than not, experiencing loneliness. But the feeling has been, until recently,... [Read More]
