These events happened when I was 15 and 16 so some events aren't as detailed as I would have liked them to be but I've tried to recall the events as best I could , thank you for taking the time to read this I truly appreciate it , even if you don't it feels better already writing it down. At the start of March 2013 my mum got a phone call from the army base , that means either two things . One my dad had died or two was seriously injured and was being sent back.He was stationed in Iraq and had served in the army for 15 years. So he was head commander in ground combat.Well it wasn't good news it was basically both of the two options. He had been shot four times by an enemy group on ground and was in critical condition , and... [Read More]

There's a boy for every girl

The broken girl

23 May, 2015 01:17 PM

There's a girl for every boy. They don't know it but they're right there in front of them. When they find out....sometimes its to late but other times it isn't. Here's my story, of a girl who found it the other way around. There's a boy for every girl. When I met my boy bud I didn't know what I had in store. When I first saw him I thought," Hey he's cute." Then in health one day when I was with my friend she introduced me to him. If you can call that an introduction.;)It's like somehow he knew instantly. He started following me around when I was with my friend. It didn't last that long and it was minor but he still was happy and playful around me. He would pass me and pretend I tripped him and other things like that but then just two months ago... [Read More]

Stay with me now

Ryder gordon

It has been about 2 years since she died, and I never got to tell her how I felt. Her name was Sadie and we were 13 years old and everyday we spent together we grew closer. We have been best friends since she moved here in grade 1, I can still remember the first day we met... I was playing out side with a toy helicopter when I my mom came out side saying that some one was moving in across the street. She told me to go and offer to help them, I gave her the look you give your mom when you don't want to do something. But she won that argument of course, I ended up over on there yard just standing there when they came out side to grab some more boxes. "Hi I'm Ryder" I said as I said in a loud but quiet... My life so far

Vic

I'm almost a sophomore in high school and I don't care if you believe me or not but my story is not your average story. I'm a artist (and I'm trying out writing) but Something terrible happened a year ago. Something that I will never forget. I come from a Mexican family and I'm learning Spanish in school but I live in an apartment next to a busy street (you can imagine how hard it is to get some sleep around here). My neighbors are Arabic and they can actually speak with their parents in another language but half the time I didn't understand what they were saying. Well it was my last year of middle school and my neighbor started bothering me and joking about fighting with me and I kinda brushed it off. Then people started dying. Beloved family members and my friends families started to die leaving... [Read More]

False Friendship

Daniel

15 Feb, 2015 11:29 AM

Before i submit this I would like you to know this is my first time doing something like this and what I am about to write may seem pathetic but oh well. We had been friends for a long time, 9 years if I remember correctly. We first met at a party my cousin had invited me to, I was standing awkwardly in the corner being the only stranger at this party and he came over and started talking to me. We got on well, we were both into pretty much the same things, similar movies, video games, comic books, fascination for weapons, cosplay, all that nerdy stuff. We exchanged numbers and decided to hang out later. At this point in time we were both still in our third year at high school so we had our own friends but hung out as often as we could. When high school... [Read More]

My best buddy

NoName

27 Nov, 2014 07:13 AM

When I was young, like when I was in 5th grade, I met this kid, but i cant say his name so lets call him Bob, named Bob. He was funny, nice and loyal. He was awesome even for a 5th grader. Now he would always hang out with me with all of my friends and we would always have loads of fun. He was small, i was small, and we were known for that except i was a bit taller :D. We would have a bunch of fun memories like having dares, like for example, I dared him to push down a bunch of chairs and say, "Aw nards!" and he did. He got in trouble but got off the hook. He came back saying, "You owe me 5 bucks!" Then this one week, around March, Bob and my friends were hiding something...something really bad... I don't know Spanish... [Read More]

Chances

The girl that I thought that would fill my heart has crushed every bit of my feelings..she lied to me but perhaps I ‘ll tell you guys the story….it began when I was in high school. She was 15 and I was 14.She was cute, funny and nice. Every quality of a suitable girlfriend for me. We were in the same school but in different class since she was 1 year older than me. The only chance I can see her or talk to her would be during co-curriculum. We were in the same unit. I’ was her assistant and she was my boss not the supreme boss. Anyway my love grows each passing day. Whenever we meet, I would make some jokes and share good stories and every time she seemed to enjoy it. Sometimes when she had free time on her hands she would invite me to grab... [Read More]

I met her in second grade. She was cute and funny and nice and everything that a best friend could be. By the way if you're wondering, no I'm not a guy writing about a girl, I'm and girl writing about her best friend. We were in the same class and our teachers put us together for a project. And that's pretty much how we met. I have so many good memories with her. She was amazing. we grew older, and soon started middle school. She was becoming beautiful, and sometimes I was so jealous. She always got all the guys, and was probably the most perfect, most luckiest girl. In 8th grade, something changed. We weren't hanging out as much, and we got into small little fights. I thought it was just whatever. Soon enough we started high school. She started doing things I thought she'd never do. In... [Read More]

Friendship breathed it's last!!

It all began in spring, when I was shifting gears to taste a bit of happiness in life. Though I'm a happy person from the core, yet sometimes feel vacuum from within. The hustle and bustle of city life has caused a stir in my daily routine until when I met a cute lad, my cousin's friend via facebook. We started chatting almost every day but not every hour. Within no time, he expressed his feelings for me after three months. I was very apprehensive in accepting his proposal because we became such good friends and to say no, will crash his ego and to say yes will indicate my likeness for him, which seemed a far cry from reality. Ofcourse, he seemed like a nice chap with positive traits despite his "playboy" appearance. Either way, I thought I'm going to lose him. The most herculean task was to overlook... [Read More]
