Broken Dreams

On the new Petition by Henry Walsh. I was one of the first 40 signatures, I advertised this petition on all social media I could from Facebook to Gab and YouTube to Twitter. Etc. I was surprised that while of course fans are divided on the Disney take of star wars, never did I think I would have my life threatened over the franchise. Henry Walsh also has been threatened, that people would hack his email, that they would attack him. I have been told I would suffer if I kept going through with this petition and kept posting it. In 1977 George Lucas strived to make a movie that nobody wanted to be a part of, it was difficult and he was told to change it and put all his money and time into it. He created history and made a huge change to cinema everywhere and the future... [Read More]

Dear Dad <3

Gabbie

13 Oct, 2011 07:24 PM

Dear Dad, I still remember that dark night. Your sister or my aunt was here to visit you. She came with your crippled step mom and her husband who loved you as a brother so much. They were laughing about stories until there was a screech of police cars outside. The Vibrant colors of red and blue filled the house through the windows. I was only about to be seven so my mom told me to hide in the room. I was really nosy i know, so i pressed my ear to the door. My hair got in my eyes but i had a feeling of what i was going to hear was going to be really important so i ignored it. I heard my mom footsteps go down the main hall and the click of the door opening. She screamed. I stood up but i thought of her getting... [Read More]

The love of a father

Tory

She slowly pushed the blade in to her arm and pulled it down her, feeling the sting, feeling the sense of freedom from everything that had been in her head. There was the singular sharp, sweet sting as the blade sliced her skin. Not to deep but deep enough to make herself bleed, she whispered to herself, "It's just one cut. I'll be ok, just no more." She put the blade down and wiped the blood from the cut she had just made. She looked back down at the blade. "I need more," she thought. She picked the blade up and put it to her arm and made one more, and another and another. After she realized what she had done and how full her arm was of cuts. She cried and started wiping the blood from her arm. "Why did I do this to myself." She looked down at... [Read More]

Jordyn

Jordyn's daddy

15 Jul, 2011 11:10 AM

About 9 years ago, I had my son, Jordyn. Proud father at 18. No job, no education, no mother. Nothing. She left a year after he was born. I saved up for 5 years so I could put myself through school and get a worth while job. One my son could be proud of. One my son could say to his friends and they wouldn't look at him like he had a third eye or something. I went to medical school and rode around in ambulances. Responding to car wrecks and such. Seeing some pretty sick stuff. My son couldn't say "My daddy's a doctor" but he could say "My daddy saves lives". He called me superdad and said I was the best hero in the world. He'd make up stories about how I could fly and saved people from falling rocks and other silly things like a child would.... [Read More]

When my wife died in an accident almost an year ago the only reason for me to live was my 3 year old son.He was the second best thing that ever happened to me after my wife.He used to consider me his hero as I was a rescue pilot he always insisted that I take him on my missions. One day I got a call at work that a school bus had dropped in the river due to heavy rain and slippery roads.I fired up my helicopter and flew there as fast as I could. There was zero visibility due to heavy rain so it took us a while.Until we pulled the victims out....the driver and the two kids they were half gone. After rescuing the victims I flew back to the hospital as fast as I could when suddenly my fellow rescue pilot patted on my shoulder:Give me the handle... My Life.

Kay

It's 5'O clock. 5.2.13. I'm 16 years old sitting here thinking about my life.I have a bad self esteem issue. You and other might not think it's such a huge deal. But it is. To me it's a big deal. Yeah some adults might say it's a phase you go through but this started when I was little and has been going on and on forever. I found a solution. Might not be the best but it helps. Without my smoking I'm scared to see what would happen I feel like it keeps me sane. So I have less then a month of school left and I feel like its going by so slow. I'm failing all my math class yet I don't care. I know that's bad so why do I do it? About two months ago I moved out of my dad's. Why? Well he seems to love... [Read More]

The story starts years ago, I was almost 3, my little sister Chloe Sophia was just born. My father has and still does drugs. Every drug imaginable. My father brought my mother into drugs and luckily she stopped. My father could never hold down a job and claimed things that were untrue, bu my mother thought she loved him so went along with it. He'd leave for weeks, even months at a time. He'd cheat on my mother, lie, and leave. She gained weight. She was 360 by the time i was born...she was a very beautiful woman. (SHE STILL IS!) She tried to fill the hole. When me and my sister were born she only wanted the best for us. I have always been my dads favorite. He hated Chloe, she was the cutest thing ever. I loved her like she was my little girl. I remember the divorce... [Read More]

My dad took care of me and he's only one in my family that I've been so close to for so many years until I was 7 years old, he died in boat accident then my aunt decided to adopted me.. I was really depressed for 10 years. I was so heartbroken. I wanted to die so badly, I hurt/cut myself almost everyday. I was in big trouble everyday at school. I refuse to work too hard in school and I had bad grades. I wasn't myself at all because I was in deep depression. My family, friends, and staffs at school was very sick worried about me so they decided to sent me to mental hospital for few days. I wasn't happy at all, I don't like my life today. I wanted to go back to my old life.... [Read More]

My life story

01 May, 2013 03:13 AM

This all starts when I was four, My parents had had 3 kids of their own, My dad's daughter (half sister)so that makes four. Well first we adopted, what I now call my sister Shania. Either way, we would be related, because see she was my cousin. Her mom went to jail 3 weeks after she was born, so her mom had to give her other two children to a lady named Maxine. Maxine couldn't take the youngest child, "Shania" So my mom and dad said they would take her, I felt so bad for her, like I do now, because she feels unwanted sometimes. But that's not the only sad thing. A year later, In June 2004, my whole life gets turned upside down. My grandpa visited our house, and so my dad decided to walk him home, all of us kids fell asleep before he could get home.... [Read More]

Start of all Problems

Jerry m

It started towards the end of my 5th grade year. My dad worked for the mortuary and was never home. He could be called to work at any moment and I didn't see him much but I was so close to him. He was the best father. He took me places. He has taken me to Wyoming, Utah, Nebraska, and Kansas. He took us to dinner and we would sit and play Xbox all day together. I miss him so much. One night I saw my dad packing up some stuff. I went to his room and asked, " where are you going dad?" He looked at me and replied," I am going to the hospital," at the time me and him weren't exactly getting along. We had been fighting for days because I was bullied in school and hit the kid bullying me. He deserved it but he didn't think... [Read More]
