Tired

Derek

27 Oct, 2014 03:23 AM
Is it so hard to decipher the poorly encrypted code placed on my face?
"I'm tired" "I'm just tired" "I'm fine, I'm just fucking tired"

Is this so believable that you're left with nothing to inquire?
Or is there something less forming, some lack of desire?
The thoughts in my head are swarming, that no one is caring.

I always get left behind, there's just me being lonely and alone.
"It's OK, I'm really fine. It's just hard to sleep when I'm at home."
Just a second glance, it's all that I ask.

I'm at the brink of tears, I need some help before my skin tears.

I know that it will be my last

Derek

She smells like the sands of time
And is funny without ever being mean
I know that she's a dime

But I can't stop this feeling
I got my bottle of Jack
Then there's a sudden bleeding
In this abrasive room of black
I create a certain kind of seeing

Maybe I should care

do actions speak loudest?

do action speak loudest?
does silence speak at all?

when the last leaf of autumn,
begins to fall?

do we hear the weeping,
of the willow who crys?

do we feel her sweep,
the earth and skys?

The Fire and the Calm

Cindy Efu

17 Oct, 2017 08:21 AM
First came the calm, to teach the world how beautiful she could be,
bringing a sense of safety to the world like best friends laying side by side, eyes closed,
hands clutching one anothers, heart beat syncing up the beat of the music.
but the calm gave the world feelings she wasnt ready to feel.

then came the fire to show the world excitement,
how fun she could be, how wreckless and mischevious.
the fire came to teach the world a lesson,
carressing the world with temptation like a new emotion the world never knew exsisted,
like a young boy glimpsing at his first playboy,
leaving the world craving more and more,

Stars and Cars

Lizbeth

04 Nov, 2016 01:38 AM
His name was Mars
Mars was on the edge
Watching stars and cars
Wanting to go over the ledge
Missing none of his memories
Wanting them erased
He said "Help me please,
This isn't my place!"
He lived on
He needed to love
He held the sun
Sun above

The First is Always Rememberd

Arika

02 Feb, 2015 07:02 AM
It hit me like a raging tide
That feeling when the air is knocked out of your chest
When you are engulfed in water and try to breathe
A numbing feeling after the initial shock

This feeling of someone reaching into my chest and plucking out a piece of me
I was left with a empty gap
I try to fill it
It's all a blur

I get sudden reminders
My first love

My friend

Tenzin

06 Aug, 2013 12:48 PM
My friend I know, I am only face to you.
And everything you search is in my face.
White, beauty-ugly, sorrow-sad and black.

But my friend my face is not prophetic soul
Sometime it will not delight you
Sometime it will puzzled your voice.
Sometime your eyes struggles to see colors behind the clouds.
Or sometime I cloths its nakedness

My friend, I am only voice to you
