Pamela's Special Day

jerry harrenstein

08 Mar, 2014 04:34 AM
Today is your birthday,so go out and play
with the other children and
swing and sway
because this is your special day.

Your night is going to be just as bright
with plenty of games to play.
Your friends will shower you with gifts
and this will really make your day.
Cakes and cream will be the delight
on this night, your very special night.

The Perfect Size

Xyla Baites

26 Jul, 2013 12:11 AM
She sees the loop in the rope,
It's the perfect size for her neck
Ooh, pretty, pretty Barbie dolls
She talks to her friends,

they all surround her
Telling her to go for it, go for it
She's worthless and foolish;
she doesn't deserve to live
Nodding, she agrees.

But someone comes in,

The One Person

anonymous

02 Dec, 2012 09:19 AM
The one person that never lets you down,
The one person that you see everyday,
The one person who encourages your odd dreams,
The one person who you look up too,

The one person you want to be like,
The one person you knew since you where born,
The one person who never intends to hurt you,
The one person who loves you no matter what,

The one person that has only one special place on your heart,
And without that one person you can't call your house a home,

The  sour bitter taste flows through my mouth,
I don't see how people drink this;
The bubbles drain down my innocent throat,
One down.

The twist, the crack, the mini explosion
out of the long neck.
Number two.
The smell of it flutters the whole house

Everyone was doing it, why not me?
Or, at least that is what

Heaven seems just a little bit closer today
As I draw near, these words are so hard to say
All the feelings that I’ve kept so long inside
To explain in some understandable way

So many years have gone since I saw you last
A spring breeze floats memories of you through my mind
Something in my heart knew I would find you again
Yet, it seems like yesterday when your love was mine

You softly brought your love to me
Praying the pain in my heart away you could take

when they leave

NanoOsh

When they leave you
without saying goodbye
When they go to a place
high in the sky.

When all you can do
is pray for them & cry
When it comes to
the end of their life..

When they leave you
alone in this silly life..

My Plea

Shannon

21 Aug, 2012 03:59 PM
Here is my story, lets go back to the start
Me and my sis were born four years apart
she was so cute blonde and little
while I was brunette with a big chubby middle

We would talk all day with smiles and giggles
or talk in tounges with babbaling riddles
it wasn't long before our parents split
so we were force then to grown a fair bit

so we would go back and forth from mum to dad
it wasn't hard to know that we were both sad

I'm sorry

Sara Crumbley

13 Apr, 2012 01:17 AM
If I could go back,
Back through time and space.
I would take it all back,
Every harsh word that I said.

I'm sorry I caused you,
So much hurt and pain.
But your words cut deeper,
Than any double edged sword.

I've been given time to ponder,
Over all the things I've often wondered.

Evanescence

Evanescence

I saw my son today.
Golden curls; baby blues, bright, shining.
Soggy cookie squeezed through chubby fingers.
I laughed a happy laugh.
He laughed back, a gurgly little baby laugh.

I saw my son today.
Short cut, sun-streaked hair; focused blues.
Soccer ball held tight in strong tanned hands.

daddy's day

sadie

24 Sep, 2011 07:48 PM
Her hair was up in a pony tail,
her favorite dress tied with a bow.
Today was Daddy's Day at school,
and she couldn't wait to go.

But her mommy tried to tell her,
that she probably should stay home.
Why the kids might not understand,
if she went to school alone.

  But she was not afraid;
she knew just what to say.
