Stay with me now

It has been about 2 years since she died, and I never got to tell her how I felt.
Her name was Sadie and we were 13 years old and everyday we spent together we grew closer. We have been best friends since she moved here in grade 1, I can still remember the first day we met...

I was playing out side with a toy helicopter when I my mom came out side saying that some one was moving in across the street. She told me to go and offer to help them, I gave her the look you give your mom when you don't want to do something. But she won that argument of course, I ended up over on there yard just standing there when they came out side to grab some more boxes. "Hi I'm Ryder" I said as I said in a loud but quiet voice, they smiled at me and grabbed there daughter who was about a year younger then me and introduced her to me. I asked if they needed any help, they shook their heads and said that they should be good. But then they asked me if I would like to stay and play with Sadie, and are faces just lit up like a Christmas tree.
We goofed of for awhile until my mom came and knocked on the door saying it was time to come home. I looked over at Sadie and asked her if she was going to start coming to school with me. And her mom said that she was starting tomorrow. I smiled at said that I could come over in the morning and grab her, Sadie looked at her mom "please" I don't think her mom would say no to that. And I was right.
it was about 7 am and I knocked on the door, Sadie's mom answers and said that she was still in bed, I asked if I could go wake her up.
I walked into her room, it was a maze to get to her bed because of all the boxes everywhere. "Sadie, Sadie" I said as I was shaking her shoulders

She opens her eyes and asked what time it was, I told her that we had to be at school in 20 minutes. She looked at me in a weird way like she didn't know what was going on, then she snapped out of it.

We got to school and I walked into the office with her, I was so happy when are principle said that she was going to be in my class, then Mr.Jones looked at me and said that I could show her around the school today. I nodded my head and walked out of the door. It was a fun day, when we got home we jumped onto the couch to watch are favorite shows. That's what it was like most days.

In grade 5 we were closer then ever we hangout everyday and sat together through school and did are school projects together. It was like we had known each other eves inch we where born. It was about 2 and a half months into the school year when Sadie missed about 2 days of school. I ran to her hose after school to she how she was and why she didn't come to school, but no one answered the door. I walked into my house and say my mom and dad watching the news, when they looked at me with tears in there eyes, i didn't know what was happening until I saw a car that flipped over the bridge one the news.
I found out that it was said in the car with her family

We drove to the hospital to find out that Sadie's parent didn't make it. Latter that night I lost my best friend. My only friend. I went to her funeral and say her family and they all hugged me and I hugged them back, it was the worst days of my life. And in her family's will I was left all of Sadie's stuff and the box of there family values, because of the one day I carried the box in. And to this day when I pass that bribe it brings tears to my eyes. There's never a day when I don't think of Sadie laying in my arms.

The only thing that's sad in this story is the grammar.

These types of stories always hit pretty close to home for me. None of this "Feel sorry for me" petty garbage that has someone droning on about their desire to kill themselves. However, I do have to agree with @Samuel in that the poor grammar and spelling keep it from reaching its full potential.

My boyfriend died in a car crash a few months ago so this story really hit home. Screw the comments above because I have tried and failed to write my story so congrats on being able to do so.
