Three years of No longer

I remember our first date
and how brightly you smiled
Your summer dress with perfume sweet
almost made me go wild

We walked in the park
and danced to our song
we ate our favourite food
and you held me in your arms strong

Ohh how sweet those memories feel
I remember them all;
from day one to the day ninety-four
All as though it all happened an hour ago.

And the anticipation of a reunion makes me go mad
just like the taste of your pink lipstick
with a hint of strawberries, hallos and gooseberries
 and other berries wild

Ohh the taste of your lips
and the feel of your body
you are the most beautiful girl
and yet you were so wild.

From adventure to adventure you went
meeting all kinds of danger
and you'd pulled me along
and make me protect you from danger

Honestly, I didn't mind.

You made me think I was the hero
and that I could protect you all the time
through fire and water we were supposed to live
we were supposed to together survive

but fate hates following plans
and she made the plane crash
or so I was told
And that is why you're gone.

No longer do I feel you beside me,
no longer do I see your smile
no longer do we go on dates
no longer to we laugh and hate

Three years of 'no longer..' have already passed
and for me they haven't been a blast
since you are no longer beside me
I wait for the day you return

Even if you're no longer with alive
I'll wait until that day when we meet anew.
