Insensate

Little did I know that you'll revile me with your eyes
Every stare was restless and that was no surprise
I wished that day that you'll hold your gaze longer
But you looked away with no remorse flashing or whatsoever

Little did I know that you'll revile me with your hands
Every touch was a mistake, yes that's where it lands
I wished that day that you'll hold me closer
But you moved away and pulled your coupé over

Little did I know that you'll revile me with your lips
Every word spoken served as your own eclipse
I wished that day that you'll take back what you said
But you sealed your lips and every piece of me became dead

Little did I know that you'll destroy me with the things I loved about you
Everything just makes sense now and it feels true
I wish now that you'd realize you took me for granted
But I guess it's true, Hearts live by being wounded
