Everyone Dies

Silence

My shattered heart lays at your feet
It's bruised and scarred; unable to beat
And it will remain this way, you see
Until the day when you learn to love me

Please break this wall that you have built
So that my love for you won't wilt
Cause like a flower, it needs some light
And your smile, oh, it burns so bright

Your eyes, they whisper a story untold
They contrast between your heart so cold
And there is only one thing that I seek
It's to thaw the heart of ice you keep

You're unaware, but I know you well
Despite the stories that you won't tell
Your past was filled with tears and pain
And still you repeat your mistakes again

So please, try to cure my yearning for death
So that I live to take in another breath
And have you beside me, every step of the way
So that I look forward to another hard day

Cause you left me desolate, left in the blue
Just please, heal the way I feel about you
Because like you, I've been broken, confused
I've worn many scars, I have been bruised

So I close my eyes, I leave quiet but brave
As I become the one, you couldn't save
And you'll hear my echoed ghostly cries
But that's alright; everyone dies
