Love Me

Celestial Starlight

I hear the constant lies,
I taste her bitter tears,
There's a hatred deep inside,
She's held onto for many years.

Her heart is breaking fast,
But somehow she's still alive,
There's a silent wish she hears,
"Kill me, let me die."

There's hidden scars on her skin,
Long sleeves will conceal,
You don't always know,
The pain somebody feels.

Sometimes she always wonders,
Why she's even alive,
Because it always feels like to her,
That she's living a desperate lie.

Before birth she was hated,
The doctors said to let her die,
These times when she's depressed,
She tries to figure out why.

There's people all around,
But she's still lonely deep inside,
She feels like there's no one there,
She needs someone by her side.
