Wasting away
By Austin R. Steiner

As she cries,
Soft, yet clear,
By my grave,
With twinkling tears
She pulled out a knife
When I said no.

Right down low
She took her life.

Agony and pain
Tears unrestrained
Motions slower and sadly
Wasting away.

Of her I didn’t think badly,
But,
Disappointed,
Upset,
Slightly up let
Because next to me

Is none other than she!
With tears of twinkling stars,
And she jumps at me
In happiness
And rage
Leaving me in pure raze.
