The story of a sleeping girl in a narrow bed
Is a tale known by many but not much is said
Her name is unknown just like her soul
But who knew she was as empty as a dark hole.

She once was a fair lass known by many
Until the fateful day that she felt pity
One of her friends knew her well
And tried to keep her young and stale.

In the night she did toss
Looking for the one that she had lost
In the moment of denial
She woke up mostly senile.

In this stage she went to bed
Never again her name be said
She was so lonely after he left.

She never left the house
She lost all interest in the world outside
Looking for her answers all inside.

Once more she lays on a narrow wooden bed
Known to be left for dead
She whispers a name under her breath
Keeping quiet until her death.
