My Plea To Cupid

Cupid, you heartless brute
How ironic you see
That the keeper of hearts
Chose not to keep the heart of me
Instead you let it wander
Far off the course of truth
On the rugged road of deception
During the blossom of my youth
These were the times of confusion
When my heart was yet conflicted
With the thought that I was in love
Of course that lie was soon depicted
So I beg of you Cupid
Please guide my heart this time
Let this be my final falling
So true love I will now find
I'm on my knees dear Cupid
So please hear my humble plea
Cupid, keeper of many hearts
Won't you please oh please help me!
