Dear Unnamed

Dear Unnamed
There is something I have to say
Something I must get off my mind
I think about you all the time
I dream of you day and night

I don’t mean to sound like a freak
But if I don’t tell you I won’t be able to think
Because you are constantly on my mind
And every time I close my eyes
I see you
I know you don’t feel the same
So there’s nothing I can do

Dear Unnamed
I know you’ll never read this
And I know you wouldn’t care
But not saying this to you
just wouldn’t be fare
I know you are happy
with the relationship you are in
And for me to intervene, I’d consider a sin

I just want you to know that you’ll always have a shoulder to cry on
And a friend to rely on
I’ll never let you fall down
I’ll make you smile when you frown
If you ever need me, I will always be here
Constantly waiting for the good news I want to hear

My feelings for you will never die
Even when I reach the ripe old age of ninety-five
Dear Unnamed
My desire will forever be fueled
By the happy moments that I’ve spent with you
Just being by your side makes me the happiest man in the world
But why wouldn’t it, you are the perfect girl
Being with you brings a smile to my face
But that could be the effect of
 pure beauty and grace

Dear Unnamed
Now that it's gotten that off of my chest
I hope our friendship remains the best
I'll spend a life time
But too bad your aren’t mine
